Really lovely staff and wine đ· one of the best views in the area. Modern tasting lawn with lots of seating optins. Calm and beautiful atmosphere! Highly recommend
The view, ambience, and wine in this winery was lovely. The service however, was abysmal. What should have been a 45 minute wine tasting (which was already too long for 5 wines if you ask me), took an hour and a half. The server ignored us and did a completely half-ass job at the tasting. We overheard how she treated other tables vs how she treated us and it was completely different. Perhaps it was because we were young and there was some older tables there, but either way it was unacceptable. For 63 dollars for 3 people to try 5 wines⊠I would never go back.
Edit After Reply: We were finished and paid before the storm started so the storm had nothing to do with the service we received but I will relinquish that there was a lot of families with young children wreaking havoc so it is very likely the servers were stressed.
Incredible winery. Some of the best wines in the region, in an absolutely stunning yet down to earth setting. Monique and the team always go out of their way to give amazing service. No idea why people below gave 1 star reviews. Wanting to spend only 15-20 minutes at a winery is a strange expectation. They must've had a bad day!
The best experience ever. Beautiful winery, stunning varietals (the Chardonnay and Icon, especially) and amazing service from the wonderful team members - with Monique making my extra special. Painted Rock is a must-try.
Fabulous wine and even better service. Care and attention in every bottle. â€ïž
Very knowledgeable staff with a ton of amazing red wines. Found some comments about the staff being "pretentious" which I don't agree with at all. We were two smelling climbers covered in chalk dust and they provided us with amazing service.
1mm view.
Omg facility,
High end experience!
Beautiful view, but they were quite pretencious sadly. We arrived and were hoping to have a tasting, but they explained it was 5 wines but they would Only do it in 45 minutes to an hour... if you've had a wine tasting before, 20 minutes per 1-2 Oz pour is extremely long and drawn out... which to each their own but we asked, and while we were there and there was only 2 other tables there, to have a tasting within 20 minutes and they refused saying they just couldn't... I love hearing about the wines and in no way want to rush things but trying to over drag it out to try and make it appear classier is beyond the point, and doesn't speak to me.
We liked the tasting, the atmosphere and the knowledgeable staff. This venue is built for wine tasting so it is less of a âold personâs farmâ.
Amazing scenery, probably the best you can find. Jean whom was our server was amazing as well. It's very clear why this winery has won awards in France, let alone across Canada. Must visit for those looking for the best wines in the Okanagan.

10/10 wine. 10/10 scenery. 10/10 staff. This is the winery that you want to visit if you are staying anywhere close. We were in West Kelowna and made the 1 hour drive. It was WELL worth it.
Good wine, definitely the best view. Get 6 bottles, be a member. Rosé to die for.
I have a friend from the area who has recommended here forever and we were finally able to visit. Long story short, we were thoroughly impressed!
The staff were extremely kind and the wines were delicious. Their rose, which is created in the Bordeaux style, was one of the best weâve ever had. Their Bordeaux blend red is also amazing, and they grow all of their grapes on their estate.
If youâre looking for a small family winery with awesome wines, this is an easy stop!
From the second you walked in the atmosphere was so elegant and beautiful ! Joanna was very knowledgeable with the wines, the history of the vineyard and the Penticton area. Joanna was amazing!! Would recommend for a date spot!
On May 24th my husband and I attended the first dinner event of the 2024 season at Painted rock estate winery..we were warmly welcomed with a glass of P.R. rosĂ© from owner John Skinner and his truly amazing hospitality team Dawn and Monique..dinner was held indoors due to inclement weather where we sat at a beautifully set long table in the tasting room and enjoy the relaxing guitar tones being played by a local musician Dave Barber..here we experienced a phenomenal culinary menu created by Chef Chris Van Hooydonk and team from Backyard Farm..each dish was perfectly paired with P.R's amazing wines, starting with crisp Chardonnay and ending with their bold red Icon..we just want to acknowledge and thank all by writing this review and show our appreciation for all your dedication, preparation and hard work that's involved in putting on such a marvelous event and looking forward to attending more this summer(many thanksâ€ïž)To whom is reading...if you appreciate fabulous wine and food..the events at Painted Rock are an experience we highly recommend
