The Gado Gado here was unbelievably tasty! The peanut sauce in particular was perfect. The owner is both kind and fun. I completely recommend it!
What a surprise to find authentic Indonesian food in Penticton. I grew up with Indonesian food for all of our family special occasions and this place rocks it! We had the chicken satay with the gado gado. Everything was spiced just right. My mother (our Indo chef) loved it and at 90 years old finished her generous portion even though she eats like a bird. We have family coming soon - and you can bet that we will be back!
If you like Malaysian or Thai food, Indonesian food is the OG, and this place is authentic!Try their gadogado salad, the sweet, savory and nutty sauce mixed with the greens, tomato and special Indonesian cracker will take you right back to a sunset beach at Bali.
OMG worst ever. Picture looked good, then was served some ichiban noodles tossed in a sacue with a few carrots, peas & beans from a frozen veggie bag sprinkled on top. $3 deep fried roll was the size of 2 small fingers with an eighth of an inch of sauce served in a 1" round plastic container.

I love to support small businesses & really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I will not be back again. The truck looks great and the colours really grab your attention. The pictures on the menu did not look professional or appetizing… and they weren’t. I hd the beef dish on rice and the beef was so overcooked and dry. The veg on the side are those mixes frozen veggies you buy in a bag. The Coco Nanas drink I was expecting to be a bit more slushy but it was very liquid and full of pulp. Expect to be chewing your drink for a while. The chili sauce is nice…
Ordered two ice coffees waited 40 minutes went up to them and they asked for a name which they did not ask for when I ordered and 4 other groups of people also did not receive their food
I enjoyed the beef rendang with a side of Christine's hot sauce. The sauce was sweet on the tongue to start with a spicy finish. Great food and fast friendly service. I look forward to trying more of the menu items.
The food was amazing! Christine is extremely friendly and super accommodating. Highly recommended.
Absolutely fantastic food! I tried the beef rendang and it was so good that I had to force myself to stop eating just so I could save enough to bring home for my partner to have a few bites. If you're lookin' for some great lunch in Penticton, this is the place.
