Edit: I’ve been here multiple times again and the coffee and service has greatly improved since my previous experiences. Thank you for providing great service and a Canadian alternative to the American owned coffee chains.
Says drive-thru is open until 6pm. It’s 5:02 right now and we didn’t have anyone in the drive-thru answer us and when we pulled up to the window, the barista inside hid from us. Signs posted in the window and menu (which was lit up) that said their hours are different for Fathers day weekend but it’s Friday… Not Saturday or Sunday. If the hours were different, the barista could have just kindly told us so instead of hiding. 🙃 I’m a bit confused as we’ve always had amazing service before but something has changed in the past month. All of our drinks we’ve ordered from here on Uber Eats have been terrible lately too. No flavour, just milky. I’ve wanted to prioritize shopping at Canadian owned cafes but… Safe to say I will not be coming back here.
We have visited The Second Cup several times because we enjoyed a latte. The last two times we visited the coffee was nothing but milk, almost zero coffee. When we complained the replacement cup was no better. We suggest you review how much coffee you add to a cup

I wasn’t able to work from my campsite due to poor reception, so I ended up spending two days working from this coffee shop—and I’m so glad I did. The staff and owner are hands down the friendliest and most outgoing I’ve encountered. I work remotely and travel often, spending a lot of time in coffee shops, and it was genuinely refreshing to feel so welcomed.
I also had the chance to try their dark roast, matcha latte, and cappuccinos—all were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the breakfast bagel and the cookie too!
