I normally don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel this needs to be said. The food here is decent, but the way this store treats its teenage employees is unacceptable. The owners are consistently short-tempered, snapping at staff in front of customers, and it creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone. I’ve witnessed them raising their voices at employees on multiple occasions. Until this store makes serious changes in the way it manages and supports its staff, I cannot recommend shopping here. Respect for employees should be just as important as respect for customers.

Best home baked bread in Penticton! Get the nine grain. Come before noon to be sure. Croissants - come before 10:00am - else they’re gone too - so good. And get the black forest deli ham + swiss cheese. Prices are on par with others - but come here for freshness. You can also order a day before and they’ll hold for you next day (re: baked goods). Oh almost forgot - peanut butter rice crispy squares - simple but again so good! They have a wide variety of home baked pies. Haven’t tried them yet.

This place is the best place in the world we live not far from it and always like to bike or scooter down in the morning for cinnamon buns or apple fritters or even doughnuts they are all very fantastic I love this place best food ever sourdough is good and produce is great too kinda like a little neighbourhood grocery store if your on the way home and need something for dinner this is your place i am scared for this new street layout and how it may affect this market because of the way it is laid out but otherwise it is 100000000000000/10 on my list

My favourite place in Penticton. We stop by every day when we are in town for the sandwiches and baked goods, even if it is out of our way. Every Day. If we’re lucky we get rice krispy squares before they sell out. When we’re not in town we wish we were for more south main goodness.
The pastries and baked goods are fabulous. Get a few and some coffee and then go for a walk on the beach. Good place to grab a quick sandwich for lunch. They have locally made cheeses and other items. Staff are friendly and helpful. A great small business to support.

You wonder how long we're going to have our market now that the bike lanes are going in and their traffic will be reduced by 90%, I've already noticed they're reducing their inventory in anticipation

A nice establishment which is unfortunate because one of their employees (which is also their son) is ruining that reputation for them by tracking down and adding random women on social media’s to harass them, makes it very unappealing and borderline unsafe to visit the store.
