This place is very popular among locals and visitors alike, very friendly service from both the owners and staff. Food is great and very fresh using local ingredients. The coffee is fantastic. The market also has a selection of local products to buy inside.

The Bench Market offers a variety of breakfast dishes, including the popular Sausage and Eggs brunch, available only on weekends, featuring slow-cooked beans with caramelized onion and pulled pork. The staff are friendly and attentive, with the owner engaging with customers to ensure a smooth dining experience. The cozy atmosphere makes it a favorite spot for visitors to Penticton. The menu also includes The Bench Breakfast, Breakfast Burrito, and healthy options like the Chickpea sandwich and veggie burger. Specialty drinks such as turmeric latte and mocha complement the meals. Guests consistently praise the excellent coffee and muffins, which are considered the best around. The service stands out, with staff like Drew being especially kind, hospitable, and making guests feel appreciated even during busy times. Portions are generous, and the food quality is highly valued, with many calling it the best breakfast they’ve ever had. The restaurant can get busy, especially during brunch hours, but the friendly service and tasty food make it worth the wait. It’s a great place for lunch as well, with outdoor terrace seating and a menu that includes salmon eggs bene served on hearty bread with herbs and hash browns.
