Chef Dan Prokosh’s (Red Seal, longtime restauranteur with many successes) passion project The Black Antler brings together cosmopolitan-upscale-casual to the beautiful Okanagan. Focus is all the favourites with a twist, relaxed atmosphere with nostalgic music, best beer on tap, finest wines and sourcing premium ingredients. With his expertise as restauranteur and Chef, Dan offers a one of a kind experience in dining with his magic formula. It was an absolute pleasure chatting with Chef tonight getting insight of his vision, career and seeing him support his team. That’s someone you want to endorse! 🏆❤️🍷🍺

Going to the black antler was a great choice the food was amazing and super delicious, there was a huge selection of drinks aswell !! the atmosphere was welcoming the place was kept clean and the service was unbelievably hard working ,polite ,patient , helpfull and professional 👏 . I had the taco buck burger and I've never had a burger like that in my life it was soo scrumptious the red pepper aiola sauce 😋 on it o.M.g even the fries 🍟 were really crispy good i heard the California chicken 🐔 was out standing next level good the pico de gallo and guacamole was a very different take on a chicken burger resulting the the most amazing bite I ever had off a burger, also heard the sweet chili mayo on the wagu burger 🍔 was a great match and now that person is making thier own sweet chili mayo and is going to put that *hit on everything 😋 the salad was spectacular such a great display and complements to the chefs and cooks aswell everything was awesome and perfectly prepared. Shout out to the bar tender 🙌 the drinks were equally delicious and well prepared ,between the atmosphere the food and drinks the service the location i will be going here more often!!!! It's a must try place in penticton!!!

I went there for my birthday dinner with my friend, Hailey, our server was amazing! She surprised me with a birthday dessert as well, how sweet. Food is a 10/10 as well !!

Best. Happy hour. Ever. The wine, cocktail, and local craft beer selection is awesome, and you just can’t beat a free pound of very delicious wings with a $9 bevie purchase. They also happen to be the best wings in town, I love the buffalo, a hot bbq mix.so good. The teriyaki is also house made unique and yummy. I hear the burger and beer is a great choice too, but can’t get passed free wins haha. The service is good and efficient, especially considering how slammed they can get at happy hour with only a few staff serving. Don’t expect a fine dining experience, it’s more of a pub vibe. Music is great. I recommend inside as the seats are really comfy. Outside patio is not my favorite, seats are always either too hot in summer or cold.in shoulder season and always uncomfortable. One of my favorite pub:restaurants in town.
If I could put ZERO STARS I would have. My friend and I sat and watched as the staff chit chatted amongst themselves watching us out the window, I proceeded to call to check what time they stop serving food at and they hung up on me so I tried calling back multiple times to which they never answered the phone as they stood there and chatted and watched me out the window so me and my friend proceeded to go into the establishment and we’re looking at the signs on the door as per the sign as for the information on the Internet that says that they close at midnight and as soon as we hit the door, we close we close at 10:45 it just nothing has been updated so the sign in the door and the information on the Internet is all wrong but you don’t close that you close at 10:45 and not at midnight very, very disappointed with the staff and the way that my friend retreated and I will not be going back to the black and I will be letting everybody know to not go to this establishment. What a disgrace to Penticton black antler is.
