“On our journey driving from Alaska to Arizona, my husband and I made it a priority to stop at The Original Lunch Doctor in Pitt Meadows, BC for lunch. Why? Because my grandmother, Elsie Hatlen, is the founder of this local legacy and amazing sandwich shop! I haven't been here in at least 30 years (I was somewhere between 7 and 10 years old) when Grandma let me help in the back kitchen. The giant mixer was my favorite - and apparently it's still there! It was really neat to be back in Grandma's old shop. We missed the current owner today but visited with all the ladies there, left an original "The Original Lunch Doctor" jar opener for them (the info is even still the same), enjoyed a *fabulous* lunch, and watched them totally sell out - at one point there was a line out the door! It warms my heart how much folks love this place still. Grandma Elsie started something amazing that still lives on... as does she! Still zesty and kind as always, but in Texas instead of Canada. Thank you so much for the hospitality and full bellies! ❤️ 10,000 out of 5 stars, highly recommend!“

“Heard good things about this restaurant so we gave it a try. Monday is happy hour time and we both had the schnitzel with cabbage for 15 bucks. Sorry no pictures. Everything was delicious. Definitely will be back.“

“Absolutely fantastic catering experience! The food was delivered on time and was fresh, hot, and perfectly packed. Every single item exceeded our expectations. The Thalapakatti chicken biriyani and Thalapakatti mutton biriyani were outstanding — rich flavor, perfectly cooked rice, and authentic taste that reminded us of a true South Indian feast. The mutton was especially tender and well-marinated. The starters were just as impressive. Gobi Manchurian, Chicken Lollipop 65 were flavourful, and the Paneer Pepper Fry was a big hit even with non-vegetarians. Highly recommend!“

“My favourite joint in the Greater Vancouver when it comes down to the Vietnamese food. Absolute joy trying their pork chops, the best ones you have ever tried. Boss is a great person, he makes his own chili lemongrass oil addictive to say at least. I tried many Vietnamese food around the world and closest that comes to my mind here in Vancouver is this place. Family owned and the owner is a great guy. I love going there as they know me and things are pretty chilled. Five stars all together.“

“Ordered the Goddess Bowl with grilled chicken. Luckily I had the coupon book that we purchased through our kids’ elementary school. It came out to $12 (saved $4 with the 25% off coupon).

I would say this is way over priced for what you get. Tasty though but the chicken is definitely not grilled… You get half an avocado that is just thrown in there with zero thought or aesthetic intention.

Lady who rung me up had zero customer service. Cold, no smile, no enthusiasm. Maybe she’s having a bad day.
If she’s the manager, she certainly doesn’t live by example. Just didn’t leave a good feeling at all.“

“Great place. I live in Fraser Heights, and this has become my new go to restaurant. Comfortable and clean with a reasonable wait. Hard to find something better or even similar, especially in this price range and with the big size portion they offer.“

“My daughter went on a school field trip today and was very hungry after. We decided to try this restaurant since it's pretty close from the school.

We are welcomed by Mr. Saagar and he assisted us to our table. The moment we seated i realized that I didn't brought my wallet to pay. So I told one of the worker that we need to leave since I don't have cash or my ccard with me.

We're stopped by Mr. Saagar and told me that we can still eat and just come back tomorrow to pay. I was so surprised because he was empathetic, kind and trusting.

While ordering I realized I can etransfer my payment instead, which he approves.

This is a proof that good people still exist. Thank you so much again Mr. Saagar.
