When you want fabulous food and a great atmosphere this is the place for that special occasion as you’ll never be able to find anything close to this little gem. Good job

My first ever visit here was in December 1990 for a private Christmas Party. I’ve been going ever since, and the food is always good, the atmosphere cozy and charming, and the service consistent and friendly. It’s a true gem on Vancouver Island, and one of the few German restaurants worth recommending.

This place was incredible. Our waitress was such a blast. She explained some of the restaurant history to us and offered suggestions to help us find the right schnitzel. The food was unreal. And the German beer went down so well with the Schnitz. Cannot wait to tell more people about this little gem in Port Alberni. Thank you so much for a solid time, you guys. Well done!!!
