Attended a retirement dinner here last night and I was very impressed! The calamari was the best I’ve had in a long time, portions were big and the service was terrific! Being able to cater to 35 people in a timely and efficient manner is a credit to the warm and friendly staff. It was my first visit but it certainly won’t be my last!
Food was really good, portions substantial, but I have had better seafood fettuccine. The cheese on the lasagna got really hard when cooled and the sauce in it was tasty but not quite enough of it.The server was adorable and hard working. The place was nice.Parking is a bit confusing if you don't know PoCo that well. Be prepared to circle the block.

Sparta Greek Taverna and Pizza offers great food with substantial portions. While the seafood fettuccine could be better, the meat lover's pizza is excellent. The lasagna had tasty sauce but too little of it, and the parking can be confusing. The server is hardworking, and the atmosphere is nice. A long-time favorite spot since the 80s, Sparta provides a fantastic dining experience with delicious meals and top-notch service.
