Family run restaurant diner. Strong coffee, healthy portions, and tasty homestyle hashbrowns. Had the breakfast wrap and the breakfast bowl. Tasty and filled us up.
We'll be back for dinner.
..and we did. Came back for their fresh halibut and chips. Delicious!

Excellent crab cakes and even better service. Attentive, friendly, and a with a lovely view.

Wow! Food is acceptable, but 28 dollars for a BBQ bacon burger!! 80 bucks for 2 entrees and an appetizer. No alcohol. No thanks! Try Sportys.

Been living North Island a couple years but just recently went to this restaurant/pub and I'm beyond impressed. I've never left a review before but let me tell you not only is the food amazing but the service is likely the best I've ever experienced on the island. The bar tender Mandy makes you feel like you are at home and is so attentive to your every need. I thought the first night that was just her amazing costumer service that brought us back the second night but no.... The owner in his Cowboy hat and faded jeans is what I originally that wow how cool is he however..... Such a beautiful soul he is. I was outside and an elderly local who thought I worked here asked me to find his lost cane. I expressed I was just a customer and he wondered inside to find his cane. Anyways I saw him and the owner outside and the owner took a cane from his truck and gave it to the elerly man to use until he found his lost cane. Immediately my heart was full and even as I write this I struggle to force the tears from my eyes from witnessing such an impactful display of social responsibility, from a local business owner... dedication and awareness just stunning. Feeling blessed 😊

Nice pub, nice view and nice service.

This place is a one-of-a-kind experience. The food is great. Service is great. It is the go-to place for those getting off a boat and the people are amazing! Scenic view. Definitely worth checking out.!

$30 for a hamburger….

We went to the restaurant for a birthday dinner last nite and the whole experience was very exceptional. They made a beautiful birthday sign, the food was delicious, drinks were on point and the service was amazing! A very positive experience for a special birthday celebration. Extremely impressed and happy.

The view makes this a 10 star experience. The calamari was delightful. As well as it seemed like they made their own tzatziki and tartar sauce. Top notch. Friendly service. Great place.

After a long day of ferry rides and travel this pub was a nice surprise for us.
Although a little dated, the restaurant offered great views and a comfortable environment.
Jackie, our server, was very friendly and gave us a lot useful local information.
The food was outstanding! The burgers were huge and tasty and the halibut was the best we have ever had in a pub environment.

Great food, relaxed environment, good views of the water and the harbor seals.
Food we tried was delicious (probably the best food in town). Staff was super good! Steak night on Thursday was fantastic . We went a few times for breakfast and for dinner, all delicious.

It was a great place to have breakfast in Port Hardy. Super busy due to Market Street cafe closed that morning but service and food was awesome at the Glen Lyon.

I wanted to leave a special review for the restaurant. Traveling with a family of 6 (2 kids under 10, 3 adults and 1 senior) isn’t always easy to find restaurants that can accommodate everyone. Not only was the breakfast tasty they went above and beyond to make gluten free French toast for two of our family with gluten allergies. Fantastic!
