Without a doubt the best fish & chips I've ever had. Thick, succulent slabs of halibut in a light, crispy batter. And don't even get me started on the seafood chowder- absolutely loaded with chunks of seafood- again, the best I've ever had by far! And wonderful, friendly service, to boot. If you like seafood and don't need it to be served in fancy digs, Macy's Place is a must stop if you're in Port Hardy or anywhere near. Thanks for the amazing food!

This was the BEST seafood chowder I've ever eaten in 63 years on this planet! 😋👏 OMG!! 💯 You MUST try it when in Port Hardy 👌 Everything is FRESH and the chef and server are kind beyond belief ❤️ 10 stars! 🌟 I'm only in town for one night, but I'll be returning later for the halibut fish and chips 🤞

The best halibut you will ever put in your mouth!!! I am not kidding. The food is beyond good and the prices are great ! Pro tip - they get busy and close early. Get there by 6pm . Because this place is so good and busy , your order may take a bit of time. Sit back and relax , it is definitely worth waiting for.

I just spent 3 weeks in Ireland and there fish and chips are not even close to this! Bit of an advantage that we have halibut and they’re trying to compete with hake… good luck with that. lol
This batter is my absolute jam, Chrispy, flaky…. Do they put some honey in there???? They got some secrete that got my taste buds riled up. 10/10 hands down would try again
