Decide to have a takeout here during our road trip around the island. The host and bartender who took our order were very friendly and helpful. We order a Steak Sandwich + Hawaiian Pizza with extra curry sauce. The pizza was pretty good and perfectly crispy. Steak was super tender like I can compare it to the level of high end steakhouse. Shoutout the chef who work the grill because that steak was perfectly sear with the char marks and juicy medium rare inside. Arguably best steak sandwich Ive ever had but other ingredients were kinda underwhelming. Fries were crispy and nicely salt. Very good price for very good food.

We were in Port Hardy for hockey and Sporty Bar & Grill was fantastic! We submitted our team order a day before, we our team arrived drunk orders were completed fast and all our food delivered shortly after and all at the same time. Everyone enjoyed their meals and no waiting with a group of 20. Very efficient and organized! Would definitely return and recommend to others.

This place was amazing with a sports team, we got our own room off the side and the waiter was fantastic, he came in fully prepared and served over 30 of us on his own. We pre ordered our food and they used the players jerseys numbers to keep tabs on drink orders. It was the smoothest group restaurant experience I have ever had. The food was regular pub food but everyone’s food looked amazing. There is a kids menu as well and the kids loved it. Highly recommend.

Soggy fish. Decent fries. Extremely loud, with an infant shrieking at the next table. They added gravy to my bill but the meal didn't come with any. Waiter was friendly, but that doesn't excuse everything else.
Won't be eating there again.

Visiting the Port Hardy for a couple days and was looking for a nice dinner. Sporty Bar and Grill was the place to eat. We were there on a Friday night so I was able to enjoy the Prime Rib special. Outstanding meal. Great mix of vegetables as well. My wife enjoyed the mushroom ravioli. Also great service!!!
