Tiny Japanese bakery specializing in roll cake, cheese cake and pudding. Tried chestnut roll cake and no bake cheese cake (レアチーズケーキ) and they were both good.

My favorite is still their pudding specifically the original plain kind. It can be bought at Asian grocers such as Fujiya, Konbini, and Hmart. It is very smooth with good custard flavour.

Nice little Japanese bakery.
Got a chestnut roll cake to go.
The cake was great but it's quite pricey - around $16.
The cake was soft and the chestnut was good.
It's good to have a try but it's unlikely that we would go back often.

Been coming to Cake-Ya since the owners’ original location + with their sons in high school. Recently rediscovered and ordered their Yule Log, which was an amazing treat over the holidays! Highly recommend.
