I normally don’t like to complain, but I had a disappointing experience at this location. On August 21 I ordered an Egg & Cheese McGriddle, but the sandwich was cold and stale and not edible. Six days later when I was back in Port Moody, I explained this to the drive-thru team lead while ordering more food, and simply asked if they could replace that one sandwich. Instead, I was told I should have called the same day, and I felt like I was being treated as if I was just after free food.
All I wanted was the principle of having a $3–$4 sandwich replaced — not a refund, not a handout. I had no issue with the rest of my order and was actually buying more items. Unfortunately, the way it was handled left me disappointed in the customer service.
I’ve also reached out to McDonald’s corporate to share my experience.

Cozy little place, nice staff. However, their bathroom only has one toilet, so you end up waiting when someone is in there, which sucks when you REALLY have to go... 😳😖💦🚽

Staff working in drive-thru hardy can be understood what are they talking about . Like Tim , Wendy's, burger King ...all become very unpleasant experiences to business with .

They just filled half the width of the cup of ice cream for me and told the hight is enough so practically it was half amount I always eat at different branches.

This is very unacceptable when I am leaving the parking lot. There is a big garbage truck blocking my way when I am trying to leave. I asked him to move the truck a little bit, so that gave me space to back up my car and leave. I ask him very nicely, and in fact, I had already waited for him 5 minutes before I asked him to back up his truck. He refused, and he told me that he needed 4 more minutes for him to finish the job. He refuses to back up and insist on finishing his job and refuse to backup his truck. I found this is very unacceptable, and I have raised a complaint to the restaurant. Still, no one paid attention to me. I understand everyone has their own duty. But, there should be a better way to treat customer and solve the problem instead of escalating the problem.

Changing from breakfast to lunch had to wait 5 mins, no problem. Couldn't pay for it as menus changed so I told the manager what I wanted and said she charge me when it's ready. 15 mins later other people were getting food and went to the counter and she acted like she's never seen me before. I'm 6'5 wear reflective coveralls in a store with 2 people in it, you don't recognize me....??
Over the past 10 weeks i have had something wrong or misplaced in my order more than not. The staff seem more focused on socializing than making sure the orders are correct. This morning sat july 12 2025, walk in and the front lady is on her phone for a couple minutes before she notices me. Could be soooo much better staff seem friendly and nice. Just not customer service oriented it feels.

They are deceiving people, at another McDonald's they fill this bowl very nicely, this address put 1 scoop of ice cream in this bowl and gave it to us, we showed them, they aggressively replied that McDonald's ice cream is like this, we have been to many McDonald's, so it was the first time we saw ice cream like this in this bowl. We will never go to this address again. I will not recommend it to anyone. Your advertising is different, the ice cream you give is different, this is cheating.
