Outpost is a great little coffee spot in Port Moody with a clean, modern vibe. The space feels bright and welcoming, and it’s a nice place to sit down, relax, or get a bit of work done. The coffee is well made and consistently good, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality you get.
Service was friendly and efficient, even when it was a bit busy. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that seating can feel limited during peak hours. Overall, a solid neighborhood café that I’d happily visit again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very disappointing experience. We arrived today (Saturday) at 5:40 PM, and the café closes at 6:00 PM. I ordered two Americanos and two pastries. I was told they could sell us the pastries, but they could not make coffee because the machine had already been cleaned and shut down. I was surprised, but didn’t argue and just purchased the pastries.
Then around 5:50 PM, I tried to use the restroom and found that both restrooms were already locked. When I asked, they said they close at 6:00. It doesn’t make sense for a café that advertises being open until 6:00 PM to stop serving coffee 20 minutes early and lock the restrooms before closing time.
We had come from quite far away because someone recommended this place to us, but unfortunately it turned into a very poor experience. Not what we expected at all.

We recently moved to Port moody and have been trying to find our new go-to cafe in our neighborhood and finally found one that does good coffee AND food. Visited them a few times and every time I visited there I had an amazing experience, especially the baristas worked there were super accommodating and friendly. Coffee beans were always fresh, super aromatic and they have a good selection of flavors. Love love love!!

I would say this is in the top 3 places for the best coffee in Vancouver and area. Or #1 in Port Moody.
Perfect aroma, temperature and not rushed. A surprise perfection. If you appreciate coffee in Australia then you will know what I’m talking about. The outdoor patio is great for dogs, the mood of people both customers and staff add to the atmosphere. Another bonus are the pastries. Fresh, not dried out !
Easily a 5 Star coffee experience. Again if you appreciate a coffee that has love and care while being prepared then you gotta stop in. This is not a dash and go Tim garbage or Star crap coffee. This is the real deal.

I love this space. It’s warm, inviting, and the patio in the summer is a great spot for kids and dog. Unfortunately the smoked salmon I had was super disappointing for $15! There’s not much to it… hojicha also tastes watered down. Luckily their pastries are ok.

Outpost has quickly become one of my favourite spots in Port Moody. The space is beautifully designed — modern yet warm — and it always feels welcoming whether you are grabbing coffee, catching up with friends, or just taking a quiet moment for yourself.
The staff are consistently friendly and genuine, and the atmosphere has that perfect balance of energy and calm. You can tell a lot of thought went into how this place was built and how it serves the community.
If you have not been yet, definitely stop by for a drink or one of their special events — it is the kind of place that makes Port Moody feel even more special.
