always great food, staff are so friendly. great place to eat.
I was pleased to see a wonderful menu. I tried the breakfast melt with hashbrowns. The sandwich was hot and large and delicious. The hashbrowns were fresh pan fried red potatoes. Lovely breakfast.

Village Eatery is a fantastic community gathering place with great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Whether going for a coffee with friends or a full meal, it is always open, always friendly, and always great food. While visiting Qualicum Beach, one guest ordered 2 pizzas for dinner; a mistake was made with one order, but the person on the phone was patient, listened, and apologized. Three reasonable and generous resolutions were offered, and a credit quickly appeared. The pizza was amazing. Another guest had a wonderful Breakfast Bowl but found egg shells in the poached eggs. The server asked about a replacement, and when the bill came, 20% off the entire meal with coffee was given. The Saganaki cheese, fried hot honey chicken with pickles, and calamari were all amazing. In a town where everything shuts down by 6pm, it is nice to have an option for folks who want to be out a bit later.
