Deez is dead. Food and service is pretty iffy. Not going to comment on the state of the washroom. Feels like it's on its last legs. Such as it is.

I'm so sorry to report that this was the worst food we've ever had. The reuben, the pulled pork poutine, the portabella burger, and the guiness cottage pie: none of these dishes were prepared properly, nor did they have any flavor. Even the signature Deez nuts were lackluster. The server was nice enough and it looked like an ok watering hole, but I wouldn't recommend eating the food. It was kind of nasty and I have a tummy ache from it. Good luck to the owners; I wish you well. But, we won't be back.

Great find! We were in the area and hangry! Turned out the Friday special was fish and chips (2 pieces) for $19.99. We were shocked when we saw the size of the pieces served and it was very tasty. We each had to pack a piece to take home. Service was friendly, the place was cleane. Will definitely go back!

Wednesday wing night has gone from fantastic to terrible overnight. I was told the wings were huge, only reason I went, now tiny and dry due to new supplier. Didn’t have any pale ales nor hazy beet which I love. I had a chicken Blt wrap which was tiny, but good tasting. I haven’t been to Dee’s for a couple of years and won’t go for another 2. Others at our table had the wings. We were warned by the people next to us. Oh and the old plastic chair I chose, broke and fell apart as well.

We were excited to take our out-of-town guests for dinner here. Not sure what's going on, but a Monday at dinner time during high tourist season, and we were the only ones there other than a few in the bar and a couple outside... this place used to be packed. The waitress was nice and attentive. The food was nothing great. One had fish and chips, and the other 3 had the stuffed Yorkie special. The beef was dry and tough, the yorkshire puddings were not crispy as usual, maybe they had been made earlier and reheated. It's just not the experience we were used to, and although we had a couple of visits planned during their stay, unfortunately we won't bring them back, too many other great options to try. Sad

I would love to give these guys a better review and to be fair we ordered through skip because we were gifted a gift card and they are the best option on the platform in the parksville/Qualicum area. It feels as if they were offended we ordered through skip, the portions were so small. We both got the short rib for a whopping $27 each and the pieces of meat we got would not fill a child. I kid you not no longer than a bic lighter. We feel robbed, I would recommend pizza (which is mostly the only option available) over these prices and portions any day.

We sat on the patio (music was very loud inside but that is just personal preference) and it was a great atmosphere. Server was very nice too and friendly. I had the caesar salad which was great and filling. I also had some fries which looked too tempting to pass on, and they were nice and crispy. Cheesecake was also delicious and not too heavy. Well priced as well... you can't go wrong with this spot! If we find ourselves in Qualicum Beach again, best believe we will be back.

Recently had a rehearsal dinner at Deez and it was amazing! They reserved the entire patio for us. We had 30-40 people most from outta town. They had two servers on our party and they did so great! Our server was Brandy and she crushed it! Kept us all organized and never empty. The food was so so good! You could tell the chef really cares and the ingredients are not packaged. I had the chef salad with crispy chicken and now im craving it!!! As someone in the industry and mostly industry people in attendance it was a fabulous night! They gave us a really wicked night before our special day
