Wow..... went to the island for a weekend getaway. 2 blocks from where we stayed was "Deez"... the locals recommended it.... we were NOT disappointed!!! Had their Mushroom Eggs Benedict for breakfast..... wow.... amazing... best ever !!!! Great service also. We will make Deez our regular.... we shall return!!!! 👍🏽👍🏽 LOVED IT!!!!!

Not really a review because we never got to eat or drink here but just a heads up for people visiting to call before you go in off season. I tried to go here tonight (a Saturday evening) for dinner at 7:40 and they told us kitchen was closing and gently told us we should go elsewhere. Google said it was open until 10pm so just a little inconsistency there! The server told us to go to Qualicum Beach Cafe for happy hour instead which was sadly non existent that night.

I had the advertised Thanksgiving Dinner. On my plate the stuffing that was advertised was not there. The white and dark meat as advertised was not there, I had several slices of very grey looking meat? The potatoes were fine and the cranberry sauce was fine and recognisable. I felt very sorry for the very nice young lady who had to serve this meal. My mistake was not sending it back. I Will never go back to this restaurant.

We ordered take out over last weekend, and a huge disappointment! We ordered 2 piece fish & chips and chicken fingers & fries. When we got our order home, it was absolutely disgusting! The fish was dripping in so much oil it was gross. There was a silver of a lemon wedge on the bottom, fries then the gross looking fish. I have never been so disgusted to see how gross this was. My husband had a couple of bites & threw it in the trash! No one could eat that!! My chicken fingers were rock hard, hard to eat. Over done to say the least! I did like the fries but what a waste of money!! Never again will we order from them...that so called chef should be ashamed to present food like that!!!

Service was great, but I would avoid the 'cod bites' it was 4 very small chewy pieces of cod for $17.95. We will come back to have a drink, but was disappointed with what we happened to order for food.
Great experience! The food exceeded expectations and the happy hour deals were unheard of! Will definitely be back next time we are in town! We were only disappointed that deez nuts were out of stock

The food was decent and the service was pretty good . They did not have any salsa which was strange to me being as they have quesadilla on the menu . The atmosphere was not the greatest and the grounds a bit run down .

In the 80’s and 90’s Deez was a 5 STAR, now it’s a 2. Menu is poor and food not great! I ordered a Quesadilla and they had no salsa???? Not many toppings on the quesadilla either! After 44 years of going to Deez (Previously called THE GREAT STEAK COMPANY) we won’t go back! Very run down too now inside and out! What a shame!!
