Stopped by on our way to see if they were still cooking up fish and chips. We ordered their 2 piece fish and chips to go. Fast and friendly service direct to the car - didn't even have to get out. It was 2 big pieces of fish, perfect serving for 2 just made it to "seniors" watching our waistlines. As good fish and chips as we have had anywhere. The For Sale realtor's signs are up so catch 'em while you can.

Excellent fish and chips! We had the salmon dinner and it was delicious, service was friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is old English style and in the summer the outdoor patio is beautiful. A must go to place when in Qualicum

We've been there several times and thoroughly enjoyed the meal each time. Very surprised at the value for money - large servings and not at all expensive. And the very best sticky toffee pudding ever!! Will certainly miss this place when they sell.

Delicious and relaxing experience. Owner came outside to talk to us and it was really fun. Sad to hear this place is closing but it seems the owner is ready to retire. Gorgeous outdoor atmosphere and huge, varied menu. Service was excellent!

We came to a qualicum beach on a family vacation and thought this would be a nice place to have dinner. We were a party of 8 with 2 kids and arrived at 5pm. They were quick to take our order and said that it would take some time to get our order together which was fine because we were early. It was 6pm an hour had passed and we noticed that parties that came after us started getting their food so we inquired on the status of our order, nor did they come once to check up. The waitress came back at 6:10 and came to us with saying that 'our order was forgotten' unapologetically and told us it would be 10 more minutes. 6:40pm the food still didn't come out so we got up and left. We had ordered a bottle of wine and water and while paying for this, turned extremely rude to us, when we inquired on why the wine and water were 60$, the waitress started arguing and said to us 'OUR ORDER IS ALMOST READY, WE ARE WASTING THEIR FOOD'. I had to calm my dad down. We quietly paid and left while the waitress was mouthing off my little sister. I truly feel like we were deliberatly ignored and mistreated being a family of color visiting a white dominant neighbourhood. You guys need to get your act together and treat all customers regardless of their color better.

An authentic British pub with a great outdoor space. The food was exceptional, service was great. I hope someone buys this place and keeps it going, rather than building more condos.

Alot of disappointed people! Closed at 7...many, many people turned away! Not even sure if they are open every day due to staff shortage! Great food though!

Don't even know if they were seating diners inside but we were placed in their lovely garden in front under a large umbrella. The special was ling cod and chips..$22 for 2 large pieces and mountains of french fries (OK, chips). Very tasty. Really more picnic like than dining...you order at the counter and they bring the food to the table in to go containers. Portion size good and prices quite reasonable. Saw a "for sale" sign in front so don't know what this will mean for this Qualicum favourite. Hours seem to vary a bit (probably a COVID factor) so best to check before going.

Friendly hosts, fast service and of course delicious food. Halibut was flaky and fresh, chips were perfectly crispy. Highly recommend to anyone passing by!
How can you go wrong eating fish and chips in a garden under the shade of trees? It’s simple food done right with really great service. The girls that served us were so friendly and made us excited to come back one day! Thanks again for a great afternoon!

Sooooooo tasty. I had the 2 PC cod meal,with their house made tartar sauce. Their fish and chips is now in my top 5 of fish and chips... may just be number 1. Our experience was nothing shy of fantastic. We had out puppy with us, the lawn seating accommodated him. Did I mention how tasty it was?
