I ordered through DoorDash. I didn’t receive half my order a blt and fries were missing the breakfast that did show was about half the size of normal portions and was ice cold. And not even refunded the full amount.

Came here on a day that was clearly short staffed so service was so so with waiter asking if you want refills then forgetting. Ordered the chicken burger (dont recommend), it was just a frozen no frills patty on a bun. While its a good place for breakfast, clearly should have avoided anything chicken here.

Love this bistro. Family owned and operated. It has a nice family feel, an experience I haven't felt in some time. The food is great. The prices are very fair. I like to say it's a hidden gem but it was really busy, I almost had to wait for a table. I will eat here again.

Good cafe. Limited menu. Very young staff when we visited. Had breakfast for 2. Western Omelets were fine but loose hash browns looked and tasted like the remnants. Poor is best description. Had to ask for refill coffee. Staff was on his phone scrolling instead of attending customers. Will not be back

Delicious Food, Great Service, and Cozy Atmosphere!

French Creek Bistro Restaurant & Grill has quickly become one of my favourite spots in the area! The atmosphere is super welcoming—comfortable, casual, and perfect for everything from breakfast to lunch.

The food here is fantastic. I’ve tried a few different dishes and have been impressed every time. Their fish & chips are crispy, fresh, and perfectly cooked—definitely some of the best around. The Hunter Schnitzel is also amazing—tender, hearty, and packed with flavour, it’s such a satisfying meal.

I also love their breakfast options—everything is cooked just right, with generous portions that really hit the spot. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed morning meal or a hearty dinner and leave happy either way.

The service is just as great—the staff are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home.

If you’re looking for great food, fair prices, and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend stopping by French Creek Bistro. You won’t be disappointed!

We ordered fish & chips, a clubhouse with Caesar salad, grilled cheese, a chocolate muffin, and a bagel with cream cheese. There were only a couple of tables ahead of us, yet it took 10 minutes to get drinks, another 10 to place our order, and over 30 minutes for the food to arrive.

The Caesar salad tasted overwhelmingly of parmesan, the clubhouse had overly thick slices of cheese, and the fish was soggy with the plate overheated from sitting under a heat lamp. The bagel came covered in butter with cream cheese on the side — not what was expected.

Disappointing overall, especially given how few customers were there. This was our second time here with the same experience.

Been in QB, for 11 years.
Wife was out of town sooo… I decided to check this place out.
I was more than impressed with everything, food, great, service great, even have a liquor license and 2 tap beers, one of which was pipers pale ale, which I like.
The owner is Bill, he is a great guy and the front end man, his wife is the cook, e has two boys that help out when they can.
Check it out, I’m sure you’ll love it!

Wonderful and very friendly people. Butter chicken and samosas are delicious 😋 Great for place for morning breaky and at lunch my favorite is the chefs tasty homemade soups of the day.

Thought we would try French Creek Bistro for dinner, website says hours there open, tried going twice now but both times were closed, oh well,
