Like many restaurants that succeeded for years and then declined due to new ownership, this is no exception. This was the go to spot in Oceanside for breakfast and on a Saturday at the time we went you would probably be waiting for a table. The place was barely a quarter full. It took over a half an hour for two simple breakfast to be brought to us and for $13 I expected more than two average pieces of French toast two pieces of bacon and scrambled eggs that were overcooked. I don’t know who taught the cook about presentation but putting one piece of mango sliced about the size of a loony on the plate Is classless and reeks of being frugal. I asked for a cup of lemon ginger herbal tea but it never came. The food pales in comparison to the former owners It wouldn’t surprise me if this place struggles to stay open word travels fast in this area. It was sold about four months ago. Also bring a heavy sweater or a jacket because it also was very cold in there. Shame that a place that at one time never ever had one negative now has become a negative. I’ll never go back there again.

Great little cafe/diner! Super nice people. Really busy when we were there and only one woman serving and one guy cooking. I felt bad for them, but they stayed pkeasant and upbeat the whole time! Definitely worth a stop!

Tried for the first time. Friendly environment, clean and obvious pride taken with presentation and quality. Customer service and definitely return.Noticed the owner has wonderful sense of humor and very kind heart towards customers. Couldn't finish homemade burger as so filling, had to take for a snack as too good to leave behind.
