This was a lovely little spot. The server was sweet and bubbly and added to our dining experience. I was surprised that the menu was mainly pizza but really enjoyed the one I chose...pesto chicken. I had foccacia bread and caesar salad to start. My partner had caprese salad and spaghetti bolognese. He enjoyed it. To finish, we shared the chocolate mousse. We sat outside and enjoyed the night air. If we are in Qualicum again, we will come back.
My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner in the dining room at Giovanni’s , the staff was attentive, prompt and courteous. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, I didn’t catch his name, he was from Montreal and he truly cares about his guests and reads the room very well. We had a lovely after work appetizer and take out dining experience. Tracy our server, was attentive but not intrusive, which is very nice when you’re trying to catch up after a busy day at work. She has very good intuition and provided excellent service. She reads body language and eye signals very well - I was impressed.
