Wow! An excellent selection of everything you could want - we went for it and loaded up after receiving a recommendation from a friend to make Wild Culture one of our first places to go. It was Friday so we bought a Mushroom Pizza to take home and bake - loved it - just wish I had a wood fired pizza oven to do it justice. Also got some Jalapeño bread, a baguette, two cheese cake slices, chocolate cake and carrot cake. All of it was exceptional and we will be back again and again. My strong recommendation is to order your Friday pizza ahead of time as they disappear quickly if your name isn't on them! Enjoy! Drive carefully!

Some of the best baked goods I have ever purchased. The sausage rolls are excellent.

I bought a loaf of Cinnamon Raisin sourdough at the Naked Whole Foods in Qualicum. I love it so much! It's organic and made with heirloom grains. Absolutely delicious toasted with butter and jam! :)
A great hidden gem. Great selection of sourdough breads, cookies etc. Grab a (drip) coffee & a delicious cookie and sit outside in their covered garden/patio. Watch for the small sign on the road. The line up is sometimes out the door!! You can order their bread in advance then you won’t be disappointed. This place is very close to the cycle path that goes between Parksville - Qualicum. They don’t open till 12:00 noon!!

I guess I'm in the minority but everything we tried was dry as dust. The scones just fell apart. Not sure if we got old products.

They have the best bread and cakes on the island, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The garden seating area is idyllic, filled with flowers, making it our favorite place to relax around Qualicum Beach.
Haven’t tried anything I didn’t like yet. That scone happened to be the best scone I’ve ever had so n my life!

We placed an order after hearing great things about this bakery and everything you hear is true. We tried a few different items and all were delicious. You can tell how much love goes into the baking. A special thanks to Jean for going above and beyond.
Good deserts...mostly sourdough bread
Really nice setting and the sausage rolls are delicious, the coffee was pretty good too and the scones well you will have to try them yourself, Jean and the staff are so nice it is a delight to visit and have lunch there.

Are you kidding ?
If you haven’t been here, you haven’t been to Qualicum Beach.
What a gem !
Brilliant artisan bakery!
Jean and staff at Wild Culture are so friendly and generous. They donated 2 large boxes of delicious sausage rolls and desserts for our Parksville Community Park Legacy Labyrinth Repainting Volunteers! We were very productive and hungry and lunch was a delightful surprise! Thank you so much, Jean!
Big Hugs, Holly and Labyrinth friends 🧡
My favorite bakery. Carrot cake is the best.
It is challenging to articulate how special this place is. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is exceptional. I don't think I have ever had a coconut macaroon that was as delicious as the ones here (we like the half dipped in dark chocolate so much that we have to get two because we each want our own). Everyone working here is a genuine joy to interact with, and it has become a mandatory stop anytime we come to the island. 10/10 must recommend.
Ps. If you happen to be around on Fridays, make sure you order their pizzas. They only do them on Friday, but they're well worth it.
