“I grew up going here once every summer with my family, so it has always held a special place in my heart. It has such a fun atmosphere, and the food is amazing (their spätzle is second only to my mom’s). When I found out I had IBS and gluten and onion, among other things, had been causing my flare-ups, I was devastated. I was sure I would not be able to eat here anymore, as many restaurants have not made it easy to find safe food for me to eat.I was wrong!The service here is always phenomenal, but they went above and beyond! I informed the server of my intolerances, and they said the kitchen could work around it! I had the fluffiest gluten-free bun of my life, and the most delicious schnitzel and pan-fried potatoes. “4.5/5. Didn’t look up any reviews until we ordered from the menu. I ordered the ribs and the Mrs ordered a gluten free burger, which was reportedly juicy and delicious. Both meals tasted really great. I loved the rib sauce/tender rib combination, and the homemade fries were very tasty.Dietary restrictions: Easily catered to our dairy and gluten allergies.“
