What a neat place! Great atmosphere and good food. We ordered the pizza and it’s the best we’ve had in a very long time. You can tell it’s hand tossed. We’re going to go back while visiting Revelstoke just for the pizza.
My day was made here! I came in for some lunch. I had a tomato coconut soup, which was delicious. I was certain from the first spoonful it’s made in-house. Wonderful tomato flavour. I had two lagers alongside it. By the time the second lager arrived I realized I already had a buzz from the first, so didn’t even sip the second. My receipt says my server was “Al Pal”. As I finished up my meal I apologized for my error, since I miscalculated my limits and could not afford...
We settled for a beer - the pilsner was delicious. The waiter we had was great. The sadness we had was the 3 tables that received delicious food while we sat and drank our beer. We arrived right at 9... same time the kitchen closes.
Closing a pub kitchen at 9 is a bit early in my opinion, but next time we'll show up earlier because the pizza looked amazing.
