I got the banh mi with peanut sauce. At first the cashier tried to tell me that they didn't have anything vegan, but then I asked again, and another worker stepped in and explained what was vegan. The sandwich was very average, but it appeared to be the best option available at least in that part of the airport.

I have celiac disease, was told they could not guarantee gluten free (absolutely ok) I chose to continue, take the risk, and order food, they refused to serve me (other than plane rice).

Dropped a knife on the floor, wiped it with a towel, put it back at the station and was about to use it to cut my sandwich before I stopped him.

My bar was low on the sushi I'd ordered, and this one came in under it.

I'm sure there's worse sushi out there - buy I haven't had it.

Major cleanliness concerns. The lady at the front put gloves on, then proceeded to move the garbage can around, grabbing the inside of the mostly full garbage can, then went back to making food with those gloves still on. There’s a tub of mayo sitting out on the counter near the cash register, looks like it’s been there for hours (has that yellowish translucent look mayo takes on when it gets warm). The 15 mins or so I was there at least the door to their cooler is propped all the way open. Looks to me like they just leave it propped open. I saw this all after I’d ordered or I would’ve just gone elsewhere.

I asked what’s in the fire bowl since the menu has nothing details other than names of things. No response, just wandered away and did something in the back and came back.

Food is…. Mediocre. I just hope I don’t get sick.

I went to the Vancouver airport a couple years back and I had this. I don’t know if it was the fact that I was tired and hungry, but the banh mi here is so good. It haunts me, I think about this place on a semi weekly basis and it has been years, that’s how much I liked it.
Another thing to note, my two sisters are vegetarian and vegan, and they had banh mi options for both. I don’t remember if my sister who’s vegan had to ask for a special order though.

Overall, 10/10 banh mi

My daughter and I just bought at this store just 10 minutes ago. The cashier was rude and spoke so fast that I didn’t understand what she was saying . When we ordered the chicken noodle soup and the rolls she said “no chicken and no rolls, I already told you that” with angry tone.So we had no choice but order other foods. Then when we got the orders I checked there was only I pair chopsticks. When I went to counter and asked for additional chopsticks, her coworker was ready to hand the chopsticks, she immediately shoved it to me angrily. I looked at her but she never looked back at me. She was so mean and disrespectful. I don’t know what the issue is why she’s acting that way. I hope the manager or management would retrain their employees on how to be courteous and respectful.

fried rice was tasty and large portion

Fried rice bowl and drunken noodle were both tasty. Big portions, two of us probably could have split a bowl. A bit expensive ($20/each) but that's how airports are.

Pad thai w/ shrimp. Good sized portion, tasty, needed little more zip. I added extra lime.

The staff seemed annoyed when I asked questions & when i put in my order probably because they were too busy talking about their personal lives. The chicken soup was terrible—just some old noodles in a bowl of water. Also, I was surprised to see a mop left upside down in the middle of the kitchen. Overall, terrible food and unfriendly staff!

Was glad to find some tofu in the terminal, but the sauce was non-vegan, so my bahn mi was pretty bland and dry. Still seems like the best vegan option in the US terminal though. Staff was knowledgeable and able to tell me right away how to make the sandwich vegan (no sauce), which was helpful. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-31
