Absolutely unacceptable.
I ordered Tom Kha soup with chicken and received something that had nothing to do with Tom Kha. There was no coconut milk or cream, which is literally the defining ingredient of the dish. Instead, I got a thin, watery broth filled with chopped salad vegetables, excessive tomatoes, and four shrimp in a full-sized bowl.
When I questioned it, the response was, “Sorry, we don’t have chicken today, and this is what we call Tom Kha.” That explanation makes no sense. Chicken has nothing to do with the absence of coconut milk. It was clear they either don’t understand the dish or simply don’t care.
This is misleading at best. If you’re going to charge for Tom Kha, at least serve something remotely resembling it.
Be careful ordering here, ask exactly what’s in your food before paying for it.

We usually fly over to the States. It would be great if you guys would onboard Hinbor.
Everyone of us got the app and will order from it 100% when we are at YVR gate 80
I should have looked at the reviews first. The food is not good; the chicken was overcooked, almost no vegetables. Basically the entire bowl was cheap rice. The employee was curt and short with me. If you're going to spend your money on airport food, go somewhere else.

Not sure if it's the worst sandwich I've had, but it's definitely the worst banh mi sandwich I've ever had. Most of the steak was burnt, while the rest was somehow undercooked and tough at the same time. I ended up eating the bread and vegetables and gave up on the meat. This was the worst food I've eaten on this entire trip.
To top it off the worker was rude and wouldnt provide any napkins so I had to ask the Tim Hortons nearby for some.
Don't waste your time, your money, or your calories - eat something else
messed up my order, slow. even for airport this is bad

Didn’t get the shrimp salad roll I ordered , was given a plain vegetable salad roll which was stale. The soup chicken pho was horrible and didn’t resemble anything Vietnamese

Worst Bahn mi I've ever had. Stale bread yet soggy on one side (eaten right after being served). No flavour and no hoisen or other sauces available. Crazy this is $17.50.

Glad I didn’t let the poor reviews dissuade me. Good portions, piping hot and perfectly spicy. Also likely much tastier than the chain next door ;)

I got the banh mi with peanut sauce. At first the cashier tried to tell me that they didn't have anything vegan, but then I asked again, and another worker stepped in and explained what was vegan. The sandwich was very average, but it appeared to be the best option available at least in that part of the airport.
Best breakfast in the airport. Better than Timmy’s and almost never any line up.

I have celiac disease, was told they could not guarantee gluten free (absolutely ok) I chose to continue, take the risk, and order food, they refused to serve me (other than plane rice).

Dropped a knife on the floor, wiped it with a towel, put it back at the station and was about to use it to cut my sandwich before I stopped him.
My bar was low on the sushi I'd ordered, and this one came in under it.
I'm sure there's worse sushi out there - buy I haven't had it.
