Yesterday I went to this restaurant in the evening, I ordered chilli paneer, unfortunately it was quite disappointing. The paneer pieces were hard and not fresh, and the sauce lacked the expected flavour and spice balance. this dish didn’t meet the usual standard. Also the atmosphere of restaurant is completely irritating nd noisy the staff was gossiping too loudly at the back. I hope the management should look into this matter and improve the standard of food quality and work ethics.

I’ve been ordering here over the years occasionally, it’s always been good not amazing, but good.

Yesterday I ordered butter chicken, paneer naan, paneer pakora… I try to order mint chutney and there was no button for it, I searched multiple times, so finally I give up and modify an item to ask for mint chutney. I added a 10% tip to make up for it because I only tip on takeout in person if I feel like it was a very pleasant encounter. When I arrive the server says, ‘you should have ordered it and paid for it but this time I will give it to you for free… I said I tried to online it didn’t give me the option?! She smirks thinking I’m trying to get something for free… if you are going to make such comments, please be sure that it is indeed possible. I looked again just now on their online ordering system and couldnt find the option…

As for the food… the butter chicken sauce was a very dark colour. They did not use enough cream. Flavour was ok but missing the cream. I’ve ordered it before and this time it was not what it should be at all… if you are getting butter chicken you expect a certain level of creaminess to the dish, sorry it’s what the dish is supposed to be!

The paneer naan barely had any paneer in it. And was so thin it had holes in it. The portion size of the butter naan and paneer naan was very small in comparison to what it should be.

Lastly, I awoke to multiple trips to the washroom at 3 am and could not go back to sleep… this is unlike me on my normal diet so it leads me to believe there’s were potential bacterial issues with the food, not severe enough to be full blown food poisoning, but you know what I mean.

I noticed you renovated recently? I HIGHLY reccomend you don’t try to offset your renovation funds by cutting costs to the food. Yes paneer and cream is insanely expensive these days… but still you are a restaurant and food quality is everything, cutting corners with food quality is how you lose customers, plain and simple.

A $43 meal that’s supposed to last me 2 meals, is now going in the garbage. I will not be back, I will be picking up Indian at ginger moving forward.

I went to this restaurant last night around 9:30 PM as the last customer. I ordered biryani, and it was a total letdown — the rice was sticky, soggy, and drowned in gravy. It clearly felt like they just threw it together because they were closing. Really poor quality and disappointing service. Definitely won’t be coming back.

We ordered delivery. The meals arrived quickly. Communication was excellent advising that the order was received and delivery address confirmed as well as notifying us that the driver was near. Excellent! Everything we ordered was delicious. Fresh, flavorful and the request for very mild spices for one dish was noted. One warning though; medium spicy for the chicken biryani was plenty hot! : ) The yogurt included helped! Very pleased, we will definitely be ordering again!! Thank you!

I waiting 20mins for pick up. But the waitress with glass is so rude and impatient. She told me wait 3or 4mins. But I wait 20mins. I ask her when I wait 10mins. Then 10mins late I ask her again. She said she just received order 5mins. We making now. I said u told me wait 3or 4 mins. I already wait 20mins. Should I ask what is happened for my delivery order? The waitress is so rude and impolite.

We had a double date at this hidden gem at Chatham Street and No. 1 Road, Steveston. We started off with freshly made vegetarian samosas. We ordered chicken Tikka which came out sizzling hot and there was ample portion. We also ordered butter prawns which was flavorful, lamb vindaloo which had a kick to it, the lamb was tender and the Kaku kuku fish was delicious. We had ras malai for dessert which was similar to custard, good round off to the meal. The waitress filled our water frequently and was attentive. There was Indian music playing in the back ground. It is a authentic experience.

I visited best bite Indian cuisine and tried their veg pakora. It was crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. The spices were well-balanced, and it was served hot with tasty chutneys. A perfect snack for anyone who enjoys vegetarian food. Highly recommended for pakora lovers!
