I used to enjoy this place and even left a positive review last month, but after what I witnessed on March 7th, I can no longer recommend it.
Maybe it was because it was close to closing time, but what I saw was completely unacceptable. The girl at the till was handling cash, counting bills, and then—without washing her hands or wearing gloves—she used her bare hands to place food onto my tray. No gloves, no tongs, nothing. This is a blatant food safety violation and a serious health concern.
This isn’t just an oversight—it’s basic hygiene that any food establishment should follow. I will be reporting this to Vancouver Coastal Health because food handling like this puts customers at risk. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.

Love their milk tea and those signature Hong Kong street food. Friendly staff and efficient service. One of our favourite places to get our comfort food whenever we visit Vancouver. The food court offers a great selection of food. Prices are very reasonable too. It’s a bit difficult to get a table during meal times though.

Bubble waffle and waffle cake is good but the cheesy noodles are so bad beyond comprehension. They taste bland and all the flavour is at the bottom. There’s only a thin later of cheese on top aswell. Waste of my time and $11. They taste like the stuff I would cook when I’m 6 and home alone. My dad would make a better meal when he’s drunk and beating me both at the same time.
The fried squid tentacles were seasoned well, but the batter was a big mess and the frying oil was due for a change. They left the tentacles in the frier for too long, so it was soggy instead of crispy.
The bubble waffle was good since it was fresh.

Several months ago I attended Bubble Waffle Cafe at Aberdeen Mall on the weekend and wanted to redeem a free waffle as I had accumulated enough stamps on the stamp card. The lady told me that they don't honour the free waffle on weekends and it's only valid during weekdays. I thought that was weird as there was no mention of such policy on the back of the stamp card.
Fast forward to Remembrance Day Monday, I tried to redeem my free waffle again and the lady said they don't honour this on holidays. I mentioned that I thought it was strictly weekends that they don't honour the stamp card but the lady said it's also holidays as well. I again mentioned that this isn't stated on the back of the card. Apparently, the boss for this location advised staff that this is the policy at this location. Not sure if this is the case at other locations.
If you want to redeem your free waffle, make sure it's on a weekday and also not a holiday.

I got a drink here. It was good. Ask for less ice. Sometimes they fill it full of ice and not the drink.

Very slow meal delivery
The noodles we ordered today is cold and tasteless. The worst experience I ever had for the bubble waffle place. Please never order anything from this place. You will feel robbed

Bubble Waffle Cafe in Aberdeen Centre offers a delightful taste of Hong Kong street food. The curry fish balls are packed with flavor, bringing an authentic Hong Kong experience to your plate. Their Taiwanese sausage is another must-try, perfectly seasoned and grilled. The fried shrimp ball has a satisfying crunch and is cooked to perfection. To top it off, their Hong Kong-style lemon tea complements the meal with its refreshing, tangy sweetness. The variety and quality of the street snacks here are fantastic, and the service is quick and friendly. It’s the perfect spot for a quick, flavorful bite while shopping.

I ordered the curry fish balls noodles soup ( fish soup). And ths soup tastes a bit off but I was hungry so I just ignored it. And I came home very sick ( food poisoning). Will report them to the health department.
We ordered a "make-your-own-noodle" and it was horrible. The soup was bland, with only a few pieces of meat. The soup tasted like super-diluted tomato sauce :( Definitely not worth the price of $16. Do not order this!

I feel I got robbed. Why there were so little condensed milk and Peanut butter?? That's surely not the HK style waffle cake.
