For example, the cold lemon tea, no taste of tea and very light; the bubble waffle had no egg taste. May give the new Parker Place location a try as heard it is the franchisor operating it.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant today, and as I finished the meal, I found a whole cockroach underneath the chicken. It was extremely disgusting and absolutely unacceptable. Photos attached.
What shocked me even more was the restaurant’s response when I called to report the issue. The staff told me: “Oh, the mall’s food court is just dirty like that.” This kind of attitude shows zero responsibility and no concern for food safety.
This is a serious public health issue. I have already filed an official report with the local Public Health authority so they can investigate and ensure other customers are protected.

Not sure if the owner saw our previous feedback, but the food quality has improved a lot! Portion sizes are back to what they used to be, and everything was really good. The duck breast is now served as a full portion instead of just a few scattered pieces, and the drink had great flavor. Really happy to see the positive changes.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this store for years, regularly getting my dinner there almost every Friday. I’ve always appreciated the reasonable prices, good food quality, and generous portions.
However, I’ve recently noticed a significant decline in quality. For example, the duck breast noodle now has noticeably less meat — the portion of duck breast has been reduced by at least a third. The drinks, which used to be pleasantly sweet, now taste bland and watered down. On top of that, many of the vegetables have black spots and are no longer fresh; I’ve had to throw quite a bit away.
With this drop in quality, I’m genuinely wondering how they expect customers to keep coming back.

It’s really sad that I find their portion is reduced significantly recently. Being a regular customer here, I’d rather they increase the price than having the food being short. Giving only 3-4 pieces of meat now. And the noodle is half of the amount than before as well. If this keeps happening I’m sure all the regulars will find another good place.

All the vegetables are rotten with black dots. It might have been excusable if it was Just one or two pieces, but it's literally almost every single one. These vegetable pieces should have been in the compost bin instead of giving it to customers.

I really love Bubble Waffle Cafe and have ordered numerous times from the YVR branch and the Richmond Centre one so this one really disappointed me. I found a small worm in my noodles halfway into finishing it! I know some would say that it means the vegetables are fresh but I think it also poses as a cleanliness issue in terms of food preparation!
This is the duck breast laksa noodles from the Richmond Centre branch, I just ordered it tonight. So disappointing.

I used to be a loyal customer of this eggette shop in Richmond Centre. Their food quality was excellent, especially the soup bases — rich, flavorful, and satisfying. But ever since what seems to be a change in ownership, things have gone downhill.
Today I ordered the tomato pumpkin fish soup, and the moment I opened the lid, there was a strong unpleasant smell — almost like stinky hotpot. The fish soup lacked freshness and had a strange odor that made me wonder if they gave me the wrong soup or used poor ingredients. The texture used to be smooth and tasty, but now it feels rough and bland.
Really disappointed. I hope the shop takes this seriously and improves the food quality. Long-time customers like us deserve better.
