The bubbly lady was the one who got me coming here every week for their duck laksa. The food itself is average for the price/portion. The waffle maker/mid-50's woman always has an attitude problem.

I stumbled upon Bubble Waffle Cafe after a random recommendation from someone I had just met outside the mall while on a Facebook Marketplace adventure. Despite a moment of hesitation fueled by negative Google reviews, I decided to give it a shot.I opted for the laksa soup with rice noodles, curry fish balls, fried chicken, a lemon coke iced tea, and, of course, a bubble waffle. The staff was friendly and efficiently prepared my order. While I'm not an expert on this cuisine, my overall experience was positive. The food was good, though I've had better laksa and fish balls elsewhere. I'd recommend Bubble Waffle Cafe to others seeking a satisfying meal.Parking: Also accessible by skytrain Canada line.

The food was not only unappetizing, but the staff's attitude during pickup was extremely unpleasant, marked by cold and unfriendly language. It was a highly unpleasant experience for the customer.I tried this restaurant's Hainanese chicken rice for the first time on Sunday. In addition to the food being terrible, the two aunts who picked it up had extremely bad attitudes and made sarcastic remarks to the customers. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Staff were ok, but they should honour their operating hours.. not close 30min earlier

Fish soup base is well seasoned, not overly salty and have hint of fish (unami?). Not too much MSG. The drink is included with the price. 3 large slices of lemon. Very hot soup and lemon water. The soup temperature remains hot until the last bit of the meal. I like the way they tie the tofu bands (腐竹) into a knot?I felt like I had a lot of veggies and meat too! Staff was really friendly - She told me food would be ready in 10 mins , and told me I could come back to take more sugar (for lemon water) if I want. She said “Careful” as I started to lift the tray up. She was kind!

Very bad experience! My daughter order just a chocolate bubble waffle, it took more than 30 minutes to get it ready, several orders after her were ready before her! The food taste is not good too. Won’t visit again!

Going to China to eat Chinese food would be a faster alternative to ordering from this cafe.

Cheap and big meal, very busy in the foodcourt. Combo with egg cake and deink is chep enough. Taste is good too .

Yo, if you're ever at Lansdowne Centre in Richmond, BC, you gotta hit up Bubble Waffle Cafe in the food court. It's legit my top spot in the mall. These Asian-inspired bubble waffles they whip up are straight fire! You can go classic or get all wild with some next-level combos they offer. The vibe is chill, and the crew is hella friendly, making each trip a vibe. When you're craving that Asian comfort food swagger, Bubble Waffle Cafe ain't playin'. It's a must-hit spot, no cap!

Order ahead and pay at pick up. Decent food but price is getting up there. Add $1.50 for bubble waffle, can't say not to that!

Kurobuta pork dry udon with milk tea, both are delicious. Unexpected that's good, I think it would be a lot of oil, but it is not, the milk tea is smooth and tea fragrant.

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE For good cheap eats, there's stiff competition from Grill King just down the aisle in this food court, but Bubble Waffle Cafe holds its own in offering more noodle soup options and of course, bubble waffles!=== 2. FOOD Noodle Soup ComboPick your own soup base, topping, and potentially get a cold lemon tea and bubble waffle too for the same price! I happened to choose chicken steak and instant noodles in chicken broth, along with a cold lemon tea and bubble waffle. I also ordered a side of Curry Fish Balls - you get 8 at this price. Good choices? Absolutely - it's not fine dining, but it fits the need for comfort food at any time :)=== 3. SERVICE It's a food court, so it was good for it was and needed to be. It seems like the staff also speak Cantonese and English in addition to English.=== 4. ENVIRONMENT It's the Lansdowne Centre food court, so it has that old world (80's? 90's?) charm still, but at least all of the lights seem to work. Keep your groups small to 6 or preferably 4 or smaller. Wheelchairs and baby strollers fit easily, as will your car, as there's always parking in the massive mall lot!
