Today's visit for 'Happy Hour' lunch was disappointing. While food was good the fact that the mains were brought out before we had finished the starters led to us feeling pressured to eat up and get out.

The only bad thing about this location is the limited parking during mall hours. Besides that, I've always had a great experience here!

Absolutely fantastic experience at Cactus Club! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was spot-on—modern, stylish, and welcoming. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive without hovering, and knew the menu inside out.

The food? Next-level. Every dish came out fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. I highly recommend the [insert your favorite dish if you have one, like the Butternut Squash Ravioli or Avocado dip. Portions were generous without being over the top, and everything tasted like it was made with care.

We were celebrating a birthday and it was recognized in a superb manner.

Always go there during happy hour. The menu is great in value. All the food has a remarkable discount. Waiters are all very friendly, even I didn't reserve a table in advance. Good food with nice vibe, lights are dimmed with appropriate songs. Good deal to dine out in Vancouver. Also great choice in late night.

Signature Sangria is for sure a must have. We had the new crap/spinach dip, lettuce wraps and hot chicken and pickles and came out stuffed.

2025.08.21 They have happy hour 1400-1700 and 2100-close. It's a trendy, more expensive place to go dine at if you're into that. We came during their happy hour and ordered a Madri Exceptional, tuna temaki which was spicier than I like; steak frites, rare; and a slice of key lime pie.

The steak was rather on the bland side, helped by salt & pepper, but marinating the meat before cooking it would enhance the flavor and enjoyment more. The frites were nicely done, crispy on the outside as it should be. Serving the steak with horseradish sauce would have numb your taste such that you wouldn't have been able to taste the steak at all. How about mayonnaise with the fries as an option?

The key lime pie was significantly sweeter than I care for, perhaps reducing sugar by a third to start, so the sweetness doesn't take center stage, but only enough to cut the tartness of the limes, allow the lime to be the main focus.

Nice to dine for special occasions, but not for everyday dining for its more expensive budget.
