“Honestly, I left pretty disappointed. The staff at the door wasn’t friendly at all, and the customer service just didn’t feel great. The only thing I really enjoyed was the outside view. I was super excited to check this place out, so it’s a bummer the experience didn’t live up to the hype. Hopefully things improve.”

What a delightful gem! I had a delicious avocado rosti for lunch, which was absolutely delicious. The team was welcoming and thoughtful from start to finish, and I’m excited for my next visit.

We visited this great cafe and were not disappointed. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. We ordered and a salmon and eggs benny, americano, hot chocolate. The experience was excellent. I’d definitely recommend the cafe to everyone including those OUAT fans.

Phenomenal breakfast/brunch and excellent, friendly service. Nice relaxing outside seating as well. We didn't have any dietary restrictions but they were proactive in checking and seem to be able to offer accommodations for food allergies.

June 30, 2025: Day 4 of British Columbia trip: having special lunch at Cannery Cafe aka “Once Upon a Time” TV show’s iconic Granny’s Diner for Day 4 lunch in Steveston, Richmond, British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. We ordered Smoked Salmon & Garlic Prawns Rösti (Swiss food 🇨🇭), Duck Carbonara Udon, House Tuna Salad & their special Granny’s Hot Chocolate and every single thing we ordered here are delicious! Wow! Came here for “Once Upon a Time”, which is one of my favourite TV series of all time, and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food here is! 👌🏻 It’s so amazing to finally be able to come to the real life filming location for the show! 🤩 The photos from the show on the wall were a nice nostalgia and touch. 😍 Recommended for sure!

super cute and has quite a bit of indoor and patio seating.
Large menu, I tried the sweet + salty which was French toast with egg + bacon. This was very very good. Perfect French toast and not too sweet.
Also had the avocado eggs benedict which was a decent portion size and came with potatoes.
There was no wait even on a weekend lunch and food was quick to come out.

Was looking to celebrate with a friend for a birthday brunch and decided to revisit this place.

Food is pretty good with the exception of the lobster tail being too salty. Honestly not worth the extra money for lobster, but everything else was fine and enjoyable.

Service was pretty standard nothing to note...a solid 4.

Atmosphere a 5 for the good vibes outdoors and indoors.
