2024 edit:They closed and now I'm very sad :(2023 edit:Its still very great here. We order to go and visit a couple times a year if not more. Its a fav spot of ours . We travel from surrey/delta to eat here yummy..:)This place is AMAZINGI get the plater that has different flavors. My mouth is watering just writing this review.

Place was great. It is permanently closed now. The Steveston branch has been shuttered and a new restaurant already moved in.The staff have already quit this location. The place has been shut down since November 2023.

Why is Cocoru closed? 7:30pm on a Saturday night and no lights on in the place, unable to make orders on DoorDash either. Phone line is inactive and website doesn’t work. Gonna miss this spot if it’s a permanent closure!

Last time I went here it was great so I decided to try it again. I arrived at 6:30 pm when their hours clearly stated they were open, but doors were locked, lights were off, and there was no word of why it was closed.

A good place to get some pretty good chicken. They have a simple menu with few options, and do a very good job on the items they serve. The beer we had here was delicious as well.
It was very good and had cool food but it was very overpriced in my opinion. $30 for some chicken wings??!

October 20, 2023. We came in around 9:30pm and were quoted a 20 minute wait time. When we ordered, they were out of two items we wanted to try (coconut onion rings and truffle onion rings) which was no problem. We ended up settling with the half yangnyeom and half soy chicken and a corn cheese. When we received the chicken with wedges, it was stale as if it had been sitting out for a while, but we ate it anyway. We almost finished eating the chicken (no one came to fill our water or check in) and we were getting full. We were ready to pay for the bill, but still had not received our corn cheese. I proceeded to go up to ask about the corn cheese after waiting for 30 minutes and was told to "sit down we'll come to you" with a rude tone. Then another server came to take our payment and told us the kitchen staff burnt the corn cheese and they were remaking it, but we weren't notified at all about this issue. Overall, our server was either not trained properly, or was just rude and didn't care about the customer experience.Will not be coming back or recommending.

Wedge fries were $10.50 while fries were $5.50. Wedge fries were a bit expensive, I was expecting a bigger portion for the price. Snowy chicken (not pictured) was parmesan chicken, too cheesy for my taste. I had it many years ago and liked it, but not this time. Soy garlic was pretty good.
