genuinely the worst chinese i’ve ever had, pork was nothing but fat, chow mein was literally just uncooked noodles, and beef was mediocre at best

I'm not really sure why this place has low ratings. I have been coming here for the past decade or so. Always delicious food and great service. They cook food with a lot of "wok hey". I recommend the sweet and sour pork, stir fry pea sprouts (dou miu), scallop egg white fried rice, soya sauce chicken was the best, and their fried fish. Dessert was yummy too - green bean sweet soup with taro. Haven't had that in a very long time. This is a hidden canto gem in Richmond. Highly recommend!!

A very bad experience tonight. We’ve ordered ‘fried chicken slices with sweet peas and peaches’ from the menu. It came up with snow peas and chicken slices. We ordered this dish because of the peaches. The restaurant owner ignored my comments and said that that’s what they had despite I confirmed with her again and again the dish I wanted. All dishes came with lots of onions (we had 6 dishes). I can say onion is the main and the rest are side! That’s obviously too much and unnecessary. Maybe they wanted to make the dishes look bigger portion. This was our first time and of course our last time. This’s the worst restaurant we’ve ever been. I hope the owner can view this comments and good luck.Sorry i did not take any pictures for reference.

It’s definitely a hidden gem for Cantonese food in Richmond. Friendly service, decent food and portion. Nothing fancy but the food and ambiance here makes you feel like home.

good place to bring your own catch to cook. Fish soup is good old cantonese style and tastes very good.
