A cut above! Amazing and authentic Japanese lunch and dinner sets are served here. The presentation of every item and dish is absolutely beautiful. The quality and taste of the food is superb as well. It’s a very popular place so if you don’t have a reservation, you will need to line up at least 15 minutes before opening just to get a reasonable chance at getting a table and even then the lines are already quite long ahead of you but the wait was worth it.
Would highly recommend their Unagi sets which come with an instruction card on multiple ways to eat it. The side dishes with the sets offer tons of variety too! The tempura is fried perfectly. The food is kinda interactive in a good way.
We went for the Valentine’s Day special and if you ordered a Gozen, you got one of their delicious homemade Hokkaido ice creams for free which was a great bonus!

To be honest, it didn’t live up to the hype. There was quite a long wait for a table, so my expectations were high, but the end result was just so-so. As a self-professed udon connoisseur, I was sorely disappointed by the udon itself.
That said, they may be better known for their value uni or other higher-end seafood options, which I didn’t try this time. I might give those a shot if I come back, but based on this visit alone, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Very good unagi and nigiri sushi is also delicious. I didn’t order too fancy just the standard set for unagi don and couple nigiri. Fair price for one person lunch or dinner. They don’t allow take out unagi don ( I guess I will affect the fish’s taste) highly recommend!!! I’ll go back whenever I have time for sure. They are super busy, early afternoon dinner recommend, otherwise pass 6P you may have to wait for an hour.
The waitress who takes my order makes me feel uneasy because I just sit down less than 2 mins, then she came to ask me what I want. 😖 But the training waitress makes me feel welcome with her beautiful smile 😊
Hokkaido shokado I had is nice. But with this price compared to Raisu, I prefer Raisu more.
Only get the chance to take one side of special menu, because the waitress took it away. 😢

This has to be one of the best sushi places I have been to! The seafood, especially maguro and uni do not have any bad taste at all, just what you expect from top tier seafood place. It's pricier than most but totally worth the dollar.
