I lived in Japan; been back & forth over 30 times since the 90's. Edoko is THE BEST Japanese restaurant in Richmond. Hands down. It is authentic Japanese food. Authentic Japanese staff.

Although this place specializes in their unagi gozen sets I have also concluded it’s probably the best place to get sushi in Richmond too. I have gone here many times but most of the time I end up getting their sushi because their fish is so fresh and they always have a good seasonal selection.

The service is great too! They check in on you just enough to make sure you are good but not so much as they do in most typical restaurants. Excellent ambience and experience overall.
