Excellent Tofu & Snacks Ltd.

We tried the Plain and the Almond Syrup Tofu Pudding. I liked how silky and smooth the tofu was. On the tables, they had brown sugar and ginger syrup for you to add on your own. The ginger syrup is a classic topping for the plain version, but theirs lacked a distinct ginger taste. The man and woman working there, who looked to be in their 30s, were very friendly toward us.

The store was very quiet when we walked in. I ordered the red bean one, and it was ready in seconds. My wife loved the taste, so we’ll definitely be coming back. They also sell soy products you can take home, which is a nice bonus!

Not terrible, but not great either — just okay. The café feels more focused on being a social spot than a place for truly standout food. 🍮

My partner and I tried the dessert tofu — I ordered the red bean tofu with ginger sauce, and my partner had the plain version. The ginger sauce tasted diluted, more like it was mixed with simple syrup than true ginger syrup. It had sweetness, but very little of that warm ginger bite I was expecting. The red bean topping was fine, nothing special.

For the price (about $16 CAD for both), you could easily get better quality dessert tofu and syrups from a local Asian market for a more satisfying — and less expensive — treat.

Wouldn’t recommend personally, but it’s fine in a pinch. 😐

Their soymilk is the best soymilk I have had so far in my life. It's fresh and delicious with ginger syrup.

A delicious mom and pop tofu spot for soy milk, tofu pudding and a small selection of snacks. Hard to go wrong here if you’re craving tofu pudding and soy milk.

this place is a hidden gem. they make the tofu pudding in house and it’s offered both hot and cold. there are a variety of toppings to choose from as well. you can adjust the sweetness as the syrup is on the side. it’s also really cheap!

You know when they say to never judge a book by its cover. That applies here to this hidden gem. If you're in the area, and looking for some tofu dessert, then you have to try this place out. It's got an old school diner feel to it, and the tofu is amazing. I always get the hot tofu with green bean (mung bean) topping and it never disappoints. The price is super reasonable and we always get a few extra to go, because you know the craving is going to strike again in another few hours or maybe the next day.

The most excellent tofu snack. So refreshing!!
