As we were peeking in from outside to check for available seats, a friendly young Asian gentleman greeted us. The service, food quality, and overall experience were decent. I would certainly recommend this place, especially if you enjoy ma la tang or choosing your own ingredients. Additionally, it seems they have a seasonal promotion where they offer a complimentary Coke. Note: Two dollars rice with limited refill. I will be back again soon.

Only one favor of soup broth, comparing to similar Malarang restaurants its soup is below average. Food quality is below average (not very fresh). Selection is very few comparing to its competitors. The restaurant offers free coke on its ad in Chinese only, but the waiter did not offer it to non Chinese customers (may not be on purpose). On the plus side, you won’t wait in line for a hour like its competitor restaurant nearly. Really really craving for Malangtang but don’t want to wait? This might be an option

The food was ok. I ordered multiple times. They offered 10% off for take out order. I did receive the discount from the past take out orders. But I ordered yesterday, the staff told me they already included the discount on their system but somehow not showed on the receipt. I pointed out to the staff, and they insisted they included the discount without checking the number. I believed until I checked my receipts from the past orders, I kept all the receipts of the month cause I need to calculate the monthly spending, based on the calculations, they did not give me the discount. I hope they check for the next time.

They gave me the wrong take out :( this one had considerably less ingredients and it was all just vegetables! The spice was also low so there’s no flavor. Omg sooooo annoying ? That chef needs to stop being glued to his phone! Probably why he messes up
