This was our first visit to a Hotpot restaurant and we were blown away! We dine out a lot and have had some great experiences - this is up with the best!
As we were 'first timers' our server spent extra time with us, to explain and assist. The food was as excellent as the service. On top of all this, the 'noodle show' is outstanding, and the 'face changing show' was like nothing I have seen before. We highly recommend them and will certainly be back.

Mandy is a very mindful and kind server. She often is my waiter everytime I go and everytime she has the best energy and does her job great to the tee. Next time anyone goes be sure to say hi to her :)

I’ve been to many Haidilao locations, and Richmond is by far the worst. I joined the waitlist 30 mins before arriving and was #1 on the list, but when I got there, they told me to wait another 45 mins — and the place looked half empty. Reception claimed all the tables were “reserved”… then why have a waitlist at all?

No call, no notice, just terrible service. This is supposed to be a brand known for hospitality — this location is a total embarrassment. Had a bad experience here years ago too. Should’ve known better. Never again.

Update: Got a standard PR reply from the manager 🙃 No surprise. Luckily, there are plenty actually good hot pot spots right around the corner — takes less time to get there than waiting through their fake waitlist. We all know there are better options. I’m out.
