Hei Hei Rice Roll 囍記腸粉

This was insane. I totally did not expect it to taste like that. The rice noodles were very thin with the right bounce, and they don’t stick to each other either. Great texture. The sauce was perfectly salty, perfectly flavored. Cheap too.

Inside a large food court inside of a market complex. The food itself is delicious though, and the congee is a huge portion. Be prepared it is CASH ONLY, or Alipay. There are atms nearby. The workers were nice but I think got a bit annoyed at our ignorance. I'd go again though since it's rare for us to find rice rolls where we're at.

The best rice rolls in Vancouver! I will keep coming back! Their special soy sauce for the rice roll is so good. The texture of the rice roll is also perfect. I also love that I can add corn niblets as toppings for free.

Authentic Cantonese rice rolls, authentic

Great rice rolls. Less than 10 CAD each usually. The chilli oil is tasty. Fast and efficient service. Richmond Public Market vibes are melancholic.

Totally worth the wait! Their rice rolls have the best texture. The mix of soy sauce and chili oil just makes them taste even better.

The portion is decent considering how expensive everything is now. Got the combo of congee and rice roll which came with the soy sauce, chili sauce and Chinese donut. Wait is a bit long during the busy lunch hour. The congee was very smooth and didn’t skimp on the seafood. Same can be said for the BBQ pork rice roll.

Cash only and she would not allow me to place an order while I went to the ATM! Had to wait in the long line again to order. Rice roll is good but small portion. Not sure it’s worth the cash only policy or very long line ups to order and to get the rice roll. Unpleasant lunch experience.
