iTofu - Tofu Dessert Specialty Shop

Terrible service, lady at the counter was very rude to me and my friends. We had just finished dinner next door and wanted something small and decided to try this place out. She refused to give us an extra spoon as my friend was very full and just wanted a couple bites. We were fine with this part but what made it worse was the fact that after we ate and stood outside for a little bit, the lady came outside and very rudely asked us what we are doing outside of her store and told us to leave??? If I could give a 0 star I would, but google is too kind and makes me put at least 1.

The Tofu pudding is so smooth, like soy milk!!! The ginger syrup was spicy enough too!!

we ordered a single serving of the tofu dessert to share between two people. when we asked for an extra spoon, we were shocked to discover they charge for it!

I had a very disappointing experience with the service. The front desk staff seemed unfamiliar with the process, and there was a language barrier as she could only speak Cantonese. She also appeared impatient when addressing customer questions, which felt unprofessional and rude.

Popped in here while waiting for hot pot and it was such a nice surprise! Super friendly service and the most delicious early grey pearls with chewy taro balls.

Owner is super rude. Came out and told us we cannot stand in front of her store. Where a public sidewalk is....

I don't really care how good the tofu may be, the owner is rude as hell and has a terrible temper. Her overall attitude was so bad, I want to give the place a 0, but that's not possible so it has to be a 1 even though that is still too high.

It was past 10pm and 4 friends including myself were standing off the sidewalk in the parking lot area waiting to be seated at Big Way not even in front of her store nor her door area when she decided step outside and berate us to GET AWAY FROM HER DOOR when we were 1) no where near her door at all and 2) very clearly behind and at a distance from her anti-standing-in-front-of-the-door milk cartons she put out as a blockade.

Truly embarrassing of her and so many others say she's done similar if you look at the reviews. She could have asked politely, but chose to be aggressive instead which was in poor taste and no way to treat others.

My friend has been complementing iTofu and finally she took me here this time! We ordered hot tofu with black sesame, cold tofu with mango and taro balls and grass jelly with pearls and coconut jelly. Combined with the ginger syrup they are super delicious with hot tofu+ black sesame! The coconut jelly is so cute in star shape. The pearls are so chewy compared to other bb tea shop I have ever had and it has a tea favor in the mouth after you swallowed it. Taro balls in 2 colors made by the owner purple is made of taro, orange is yam with Tapioca starch (no Glutinous Rice Flour 糯米粉..yes!).

For my understanding, they have only one or two family members working. There was only one staff that Friday night. You will need to pick up the food from the counter, which is understandable (don't understand why someone complained in the review).

Overall, good authentic food, nice presentation, all made by the family and worth the wait! Will bring friends and family for gatherings :)

Vegetarian options: all tofu is vegetarian except the dried pork

Conveniently just across from Lansdowne this little gem of a tofu desert venue gives an authentic taste of Chinese deserts. Handmade with lots of care.

Reasonable prices and decently fast service, everything tastes great and you can add sugar and syrup to your own liking. I’d personally recommend the ginger syrup.
