The duck breast and the salmon were tasty. A bottle of Pomerol made the meal. Pricy dinner, but what can we expect from the airport?

Not what it used to be. No wines on the menu are available and the food came out so quickly and tasted like it sits under heaters ready to go. Really unpleasant sauce with the steelhead. Felt sick later on. Used to love this place but can't say I'll be back.

It was a nice experience to have tea at the airport. Hotel welcome staff was excellent and helpful--they were quick to direct us to parking and the hotel once we were on the departure concourse. It was unique to use french presses instead of teapots. Tea presentation was awesome, but pouring tea was a bit messy until we got used to them. Food was okay, but nothing really stood out. Table service was good, but extremely slow. It took a long time for the server to come to the table after we were seated and took a very long time for us to get the check. If coming, remember to use the Compass card 2-for-1 discount and get your parking validated if you drive there.

The service was slow and the food wasn't great. We were told the attire was "smart casual" yet there were people dining next to us in t-shirts and pajama pants (breakfast). I booked our reservation over 1 month in advance, yet we were seated at the worst table (next to the kitchen/ limited view). Parking for 2+ hours at the Airport would have been $59 which they do cover. However, the barcode they gave us didn't work and we had to call for help at the gate exit, holding everyone else up behind us. It was very stressful and not a great experience my Mom's 70th Birthday (8 guests).

This is a beautiful space with unparalleled views. Our seafood was very fresh and desert was on point. While our server was friendly, she disappeared for long periods of time, so service was spotty. Music was great but the acoustics magnified other diners conversation making for a loud atmosphere. This was especially true because there was a large family with four young children who were being allowed to run amongst the tables playing while their parents dined. This was disturbing the experience of other diners. I don't mind children, but I e never seen this in a nice restaurant. I would eat here again when overnighting at Vancouver airport, just adjust expectations.

Great food and airplane views! Our server, Shalinette was very attentive and helpful.

Stopped to watch BlueJays at the lounge. Ordered moctail, looked nice but soda was flat: ( not the refreshing sparkle I hoped for. Followed up with Dungenous Crab bisque - took a long, long time - tasted like warm cracker slurry, a salty paste with no flavour (except salt) - not a spec of crab - left it, went to washroom - bowl sat in front of me for three more innings! Wanted to order something I could enjoy, but finally gave up waiting and asked for bill. Other orders around me looked fine. Prices were not bad, service meh, but staff were very busy. Had higher expectations for a Fairmont, I'm sure they could do much, much, better.

Really enjoyed the lunch special - Food on the Fly. Had a delicious mushroom soup, and the shrimp poke was pretty good. Better with a bit extra sauce we ordered to add on top. But I like that they didn't over-sauce the food, so adding a bit was right for us.

Lovely experience, their pork sausages are to die for so so good. I will def recommend and come back anytime I need to travel... The view is way better of planes on taxi lane

The food here is always good, and on a late sunny day like we had the views are killer. Service is consistently slow as mgmt doesn't have enough servers on the floor. Wine list by the glass is BC only which is odd 1. Because it's a higher end location and 2. There are much better BC wines than the ones they choose to serve. But there is no competition besides the food court in the airport. This is an OK restaurant but a little bit of thinking could make it a really good one.

I was disappointed with the food, not the standard of a Fairmont property. We ordered the all day breakfast, the eggs were over cooked. My wife ordered a latte and was served a french press. Not at all what we were expecting when we met our friends before they flew.

Second time visiting Globe- food was excellent, service very good. Brought a guest and they were very impressed!

Josh was extremely courteous and helpful. Lovely meal - meet up with friends who came to hotel as we were in transit.

Great food. Nice variety on the menu. Good service although hostess was late for her shift so it delayed our reservation. Great location for watching planes land. Very expensive menu even for vegetarian options. But it's a captive audience & obviously people are still dining there. Had a Fairmont gift card which helped.

Dining room looks like coffee shop of 3* hotel. Very limited staff. Drinking water only replenish once at the end of the dinner. This is the worst dining experience at the Fairmont chain. The seafood pasta is the worst I have ever eaten. Do not go.
