This is a beautiful space with unparalleled views. Our seafood was very fresh and desert was on point. While our server was friendly, she disappeared for long periods of time, so service was spotty. Music was great but the acoustics magnified other diners conversation making for a loud atmosphere. This was especially true because there was a large family with four young children who were being allowed to run amongst the tables playing while their parents dined. This was disturbing...
Really enjoyed the lunch special - Food on the Fly. Had a delicious mushroom soup, and the shrimp poke was pretty good. Better with a bit extra sauce we ordered to add on top. But I like that they didn't over-sauce the food, so adding a bit was right for us.
The food here is always good, and on a late sunny day like we had the views are killer. Service is consistently slow as mgmt doesn't have enough servers on the floor. Wine list by the glass is BC only which is odd 1. Because it's a higher end location and 2. There are much better BC wines than the ones they choose to serve. But there is no competition besides the food court in the airport. This is an OK restaurant but a little bit of thinking could make it a really good...
