This is the express version of John 3:16 located at the Aberdeen Centre food court. The food was all so incredibly delicious! The ayam goreng is perfectly marinated and seasoned on the meat, not just the outer crust. The chicken satay was also so good that even without the peanut sauce, it is already perfect. The sambal fish has the right amount of heat while still being tender with a crunchy exterior. Two thumbs up đđ! #Food #AyamGoreng #ChickenSatay #SambalFish #AberdeenCentre #FoodCourt #Lunch

The food is very good here if you are looking for authentic Malaysian/Singapore food.
I missed the food from John 3.16 after 3years I came back to Vancouver, the outlet growth many places, in the food court of Aberdeen served by Christine was awesome đ€©
Been here many times, it was one of the better Malaysian restaurants a few years ago, now the quality is only comparable to food court quality. When I was here in March, we ordered five dishes. Everything were served within five minutes. Immediately you know the food was pre-cooked and dipped in sauce in order. As you wouldâve guessed, all the dishes are luke-warm and the temp is 10 degrees too cold. The taste was just sauce overpowering the food. Worst of all there is a 2% surcharge on using credit card. Never going back!!
Pretty good đ just pricey

Ordered hainanese chicken, roti canai, and chicken skewers and everything tasted really good !!
the chicken skewers were a little sweet and fyi I believe the sauce it comes with has peanuts. The roti canai was sweet.

recommended restaurant ever and food are so delicious and fantastic and excellent experience and ambiance. Will come back here this is one of my favorite ever
I ordered the beef rendang and received it at room temperature... and flavourless... I heard so many great things about this restaurant but I suppose their food court express version does not live up to the standard. I was severely disappointed. I recommend they add flavour to this dish (please).

Pretty dang impressive food for a food court! Tried the Hainan chicken, which was flavourful and tender. Same with beef rendang.

Food was lit.
Absolutely delicious! The Malaysian Curry Laksa noodle soup was a standout, with a choice of egg noodles or vermicelli. The broth was rich with umami, leaning towards a bold coconut flavor with a milder spice level. Personally, Iâd love a bit more heat, but it was worth savoring every sip!
The satay chicken skewers were just as impressive. The Sate-peanut sauce was incredibleânot too spicy but perfectly grilled with a touch of sweetness.
Canât wait to come back and explore more of the menu!
