The typical cheap, delicious, and cash-only place in a Richmond food court, it's fantastic! It is very hard to find seating during rush hours in the food court though. Their menu is wide stacked, and I highly recommend their beef stew with rice :)

This is the type of authentic food stall you want to enjoy at every mall. Soups are excellent and full of flavour. Generous noodles are springy and additional green onions make it perfect as it adds freshness. The woman was very helpful in making the order. I had the pork and preserved veg noodle soup and smashed cucumber salad. So satisfying! It's in the mall right next to an entrance so it can be breezy.

The chicken is crispy and moist. The chilli oil dumpling is also great, thin smooth slippery skin and balanced chilli oil sauce. The lady is very welcoming.

Nice and friendly service, came here for their pork peanut buns and it didn’t disappoint. Fluffy Bao like bun with a nice slice of pork, seasoned just right and a sprinkling of crushed peanuts and cilantro. Also had the Taiwanese chicken nuggets. $7.50 was the average price per dish.

Food and service were great! We ordered three spice chicken and pork dumpling. The bao bun was huge! Everything had great flavor. Only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is the ambiance. It's in a mall, cafeteria style which is fine but the mall itself didn't seem super kept up with cleaning wise. Good stop for quick snack though!

Ordered the beef noodle and deep fried chicken nuggets. Looks ok at a glance, but extremely disappointed and turned off with the beef noodle soup’s broth because it seems as if they didn’t skim the blood/fat off the broth while cooking, I literally could not eat it. Chicken nuggets were average.

Came here again after coming back from a trip last night. It's our go to place for comfy food. Some pictures to share as promised

Friendly staff and pretty fast. Food is tasty and cheap. Parking out right outside the plaza mall, Joy's Taiwanese Kitchen is in the food court, right by the door. Tables in front of the place as it's a food court, but if the weather is nice, you can take it out to the park nearby to eat too. Quite a few options to choose from. Their scallion pancake is simple but great, made fresh daily so slightly longer wait and usually only available in the afternoon. Would go back when I'm around the area!

Ordered the fried tofu, salt and pepper chicken, beef wrap, and fried dumplings and was told the dumplings would take a while to make. When the food came up the other dishes were lukewarm as if they had been made and were just sitting out while the dumplings were finished being cooked. Taste was fine, but was disappointed with food that wasn't freshly up.

They’ve recently reopened. And man, am I glad! I’ve been going to this place since they were a restaurant on No3 road 20+ years ago. Best Taiwanese food by far.
