Drove all the way from Whiterock only to find a handwritten paper sign on the door that states AYCE is only11:00 till 1:30
The place was dead at 5:30 on a Sunday night, not one table seated. We went elsewhere
it's my first time visiting this restaurant. The food is delicious and tasty. I would definitely visit again the next time I'm in Richmond.

The meat and fish served here is disgusting. The fish is not even fresh. It is salty, fishy and even bitter. One bit ruins the entire box. It is so disgusting that I almost vomited. The pork rib is also dry, chewy and has a refrigerated taste. The only saving grace is the veggies but that is no where near worthy given all the other options in Richmond.
Seriously, North Bistro. Don’t cook food that that even animals won’t eat. My money is completely wasted and I regret so much to even consider this restaurant

Food 4/5: it’s rare to find a good All You Can Eat (AYCE) place in the lower mainland at $17.99 per adult! There’s a good variety of Chinese food. Some of the food options are mild-to-medium spicy by Canadian standards. There are also non-spicy options.
First you pay, then you’re give a stainless steel plate. You had it to the server and tell them what you want. If you paid for AYCE, then you bring the same plate back for more.
Service: You grab your own free tea and water. When you’re done, you leave your plate at the table.
Atmosphere: it was about half full when we went on Saturday during lunch with a mix of families, couples and individuals.

Wow who could have thought you can find an all you can eat lunch buffet for $18 but here it is.
The signage is only in Chinese, so it was a hard place to find as it is in a side entrance of hazelbridge way on the east side of the parking structure.
Seating is free for all, so you just sit yourself down. Then you have to pay first Cash or Debit only guys! They give you a paper cup and a metal tray and you bring the tray to the food area where you choose the food and they scoop.
Food was decent, white rice to start, lots of meat, some veggies but a good selection of beef, pork, chicken.
We had pork belly, beef brisket with potato, tomato and egg, black bean chicken, eggplant and potato.
A good selection of buyable drinks or you can get free tea or water from the right side of the bar area.
Bathrooms were clean and fashionable.
I think it is a great price for good tasting Chinese food!
Not a bad place if you’re in the mood for homestyle Chinese food (4 dishes + rice). The price per person was decent (~$20 all you can eat, per person) and we felt super full afterwards. Free tea and water. Plenty of seating and it’s modern, clean and spacious inside. Only negative thing was they’re currently partnering with a restaurant membership program/app and the reps are very aggressive with luring in new customers.
A very disappointing place.
So unsanitary, and dirty, as you can't have a fresh tray every time you go back and get another serving. I hope that there is a food inspection bu Vancouver Coastal is being done. You could see that there are times that the serving spoon is touching the used plate. Food is very greasy!
Lunch special all you can eat with a bento box $17.99- price increased. Can opt for lunch take out box which is $11.99 but is just a three item bento box. Prob a much better deal for someone who can’t eat that much. I paid for the $18 but couldn’t even go for second serving. Food on the greasy side but overall ok quality. Also no need to tip as it is half self served.
