It’s not a typical restaurant, the owner/chef has great cooking sense, as he said he serves people who can enjoy the food he cook. I love the congee here, it’s the combination of congee and soup. Like the late night food I enjoy at Chinese new year night. Grandma will cook the rice with whatever soup left, the best in memory. Highly recommend to have a try, you might like or not like. It’s just personal preference. I do like it a lot
This has been my go-to spot since around 2021, and it’s still my favourite Chinese restaurant in Richmond. If you’re looking for authentic congee pots with real depth of flavour, this place delivers every single time. The ingredients are always fresh, and the umami is top-notch — the kind of flavour you can only get from a place that truly cares about what they serve.
