This place is worth to wait. We are from Edmonton, we decided to have a last meal in Vancouver at this place. Once we got a table, order comes fast to our table. Perfectly tender, rich flavor, 2 different dressings for cabbage salad are great 👍 Very kind of greeting, nice service overall. Definitely recommend

Very good Katsu sets here. Our favourites are the cheese Katsu set, original Katsu set and the ebi set.
The rice combo is much better than the ramen as the noodle seems to be more soggy than the typical ramen we eat. The rice, miso and cabbage have unlimited refills as long as everyone orders their own combos (children under age of 9 doesn't count).
Lineup is very long for weekday dinners and weekend meals. So highly recommend you to go there when they open to avoid long lineups.
Parking is limited next to the restaurant.
We were rushed a bit for being there just over an hour because we had a bigger group (8) so that wasn't great..

Max capacity only 28-30 people. On weekends you’ll have to lineup around 25 minutes before opening to get in on the first round lunch. Katsu is done perfectly and free refills on all the sides. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Parking on 2nd floor If they can only come out 10-15 minutes before opening to figure out how many parties will get in especially during winter months that’ll be even better

We went at the slack time on weekdays,1:30pm on Wednesday. So no wait. Tonkatsu is still very crispy outside and tender & juicy inside. There is a sign showing different ways of eating it. I like the one going with wasabi. The assorted set was also good. The prawn is so big and texture is perfect. They also offer free refill for rice, miso soup & cabbage.

The tonkatsu is the best I’ve ever had! It was super crispy on the outside and really juicy inside, and it was so delicious from the very first bite. The rayu ramen had a lovely smoky flavor and was so tasty too. All the servers were super nice and took great care of us. I had such a wonderful time here. I will definitely come back 100%❣️❣️

I ordered a few of their signature katsu dishes. The chicken katsu was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the sauce had good flavor that didn’t overpower the dish. I also tried the curry katsu and the sauce was rich and comforting, with rice that felt well cooked and fresh.
Service was quick and friendly. My order came out sooner than I expected, and the staff were happy to answer questions when I wasn’t sure what to try.
