“The food was excellent, and I'm not sure why the ratings are low. It might be because it's not as suitable for dining in, but it's great for takeout. The promotions and variety of options are great. The portions are large, balanced, and flavorful. There are also plenty of vegetarian options available. I strongly recommend this place, especially if you're a fan of kebabs and donairs like we are!“

“Surprisingly the best sesame cold noodles (liangpi) I’ve had in Greater Vancouver — and I’m from Northeast China! Never thought a BBQ place like Kao Zhi Wei would make such authentic, smooth, refreshing liangpi, but it’s truly amazing.

Their grilled catfish is delicious with crispy skin and tender meat. The owner remembering customers’ spice levels is a really nice touch. Oysters are big, fresh, and come in four flavors — the black bean one is my favorite.

Skewers are solid too, especially the chicken cartilage and the bean-curd cilantro roll.
Portions are generous, and the value sets online are great for saving a bit.
