Tried their New York style chicken rice bento and their Japanese style Tokyo Charsiu rice bento. Both tasted wholesome and reminiscent of home cooking. Good presentation for the takeout. Discovered them on Chowbus. Good value for the price and the owner appeared friendly when I picked up the food. Good portions, food tasted good, and the meat was good quality. Only drawback I found was the rice was kinda dry and on the harder side.

The door was closed halfway when we arrived. It was odd because we did not know if they were open or not. The female employee said, "Hi" to us but she looked away when we said, "Hi" back. Does she genuinely welcome customers? Then she started to talk to us when we tried to browse the products. I had no chance to read the packaging and to decide which product I wanted to get because she kept talking (non-stop). She did not need to explain the products to me because there were labels on the freezer and the information was on the product as well. She should give some time for customers to browse and to decide what they want instead of keep asking the customers what do they want. The fact that she tried that hard to sell was quite disturbing.Basically, she does not want customers to browse and just want them to be out of the store ASAP.P.S. She told me the dumplings were thin-skin but they were obviously thick- skin. She lied in order to sell. I did not get them.

Very bad experience with this shopI came here to get 6 rice dumplings They have some on the shelf but they lady said she wanted to give me some newly came stock they were freshly madeI got home and found they were frozen dead stockShould really avoid this dishonest shop
