“Pretty decent and authentic Korean restaurant in North Richmond. We tried the 6 person combo and there was a lot of food! It's cooked in the kitchen instead of BBQ'ing yourself, which is fine for us.

We ordered a little extra just in case and we probably didn't need to as the portions are fairly generous.

Lots of tables and parking, but we went during lunch, so it's hard to say if reservation is needed.“

“I order the pork galbi every time I come here. The meat is tender and very delicious. The side dishes they serve are plentiful, and each one tastes great. They often come by to ask if I need refills. It tasted even better with Korean liquor. All the servers here are cheerful and friendly, which reflects the attitude of the owner or manager. However, there can be a wait, so I recommend going right when they open.“

I visited again and still had a great experience. The food was just as good as before, though the servers seemed quite busy.

I had a great experience here overall. The food was absolutely delicious, and even though the restaurant was clearly very busy, the staff remained friendly and attentive throughout our visit. You could tell the team was working hard, and despite the rush, the service never felt careless or rushed in a negative way.
The Sooda Dakgalbi was especially outstanding — full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely the highlight of the meal. It’s easy to see why this place is always busy. The energy of the restaurant actually adds to the atmosphere and makes it feel lively and popular.
I’m a regular at the Gastown location, and I’m happy to say this location lived up to my expectations as well. The quality of the food and the overall experience were consistent with what I’ve come to love about Sooda.
I’ll definitely be coming back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for great Korean food in a vibrant setting.“

One good point they are open till late which is rare in vancouver so its great and they have a variable menu , from bbq to sushi They offer cold dish with the bbq and its tasty

They were amazing at accommodating our autistic grandsons food sensory issues. Sides were simple yet flavorful and good accompaniment for the pork. Definitely make a reservation as it was busy.“

“Chosun Korean BBQ is a staple on Kingsway street. They offer tasty Korean food with good service. We ordered the medium set menu with hot pot. They have a variety of side dishes that are free to refill, and they have a button you can press for service. The location is a bit small, so you're likely going to wait even if you show up on time. Overall a nice experience for some Korean BBQ.“
