“I recently visited Good Nine Korean BBQ, and everything was totally worth it . All the meats I tried were super juicy and fresh. I went there for the pork belly, but I enjoyed the galbi more. Non-marinated galbi was incredibly tender, and the beef tongue was perfect with just lemon and salt. Eating the pork belly with wasabi was another twist.
The staff were very friendly, their grilling skills were excellent. If you’re looking for great Korean BBQ with a pleasant atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. And don’t forget to try their naengmyeon—it’s a must!“

“Had a late dinner of Pork bone soup, it was very good and my wife had the dumpling soup which was also excellent. Service was fast and friendly. We were offered extra kimchi and other garnish for our food a couple of times. The kimchi was excellent! There is the Korean BBQ option if you have the time to cook your own meal.“

“I recently visited Jjang Korea BBQ in Richmond, and their bargain lunch special is an absolute steal! The Korean fried chicken is crispy and flavorful—definitely one of the best I’ve had. Their kimchi and potato sides are outstanding, perfectly complementing the meal. The beef is tender, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a chill lunch. Free parking adds to the convenience, which is always a bonus in Richmond. Overall, Jjang Korea BBQ offers incredible value without compromising on quality. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Korean BBQ!“

“Came here with my parents for dinner. The pork and beef is soft and tender. The addition of the side dishes were good: helps to cleanse pallet after eacb bite. The marinate was a bit on the sweeter/powerful side. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The 3 plates of meat and fish I ordered totaled to be ~130 CAD, which is a bit on the pricey end. 4/5“

“This Korean BBQ spot in downtown Vancouver truly sets the bar high with its outstanding quality of meats. From the beautifully marbled short rib to the perfectly balanced pork belly, every cut is fresh, tender, and bursting with flavor. The wagyu is a clear standout—rich, buttery, and cooked to perfection on the grill, while even the simpler cuts shine with their freshness and texture. You can taste the care in sourcing and preparation, and the staff’s knowledge and guidance make the whole experience even better. It’s not just a meal here—it’s a showcase of premium meats done right, making it easily one of the best Korean BBQ experiences in the city.“

“Not the first time here and wanted to try their other options.
Food honestly was surprisingly very good and price was acceptable especially the lunch set meal deal. Seafood pancake was bit more on the greasy side as the wax paper was drenched with oil. Overall a mid 4.
Service was pretty good for a solid 4 with nothing too outstanding.
The atmosphere was pretty good and it was not crowded or noisy. The individual washroom stalls were a surprise and extremely clean and well maintained. High 5 for atmosphere.
Definitely would consider revisiting again.“

“Food is very tasty and fresh. The waitress is very friendly, polite, accommodating and efficient. She also cooked our food perfectly. We didn’t do the AYCE, instead we each ordered the HAND-PAN for $19.99 per person and it was a lot of food! We couldn’t even finish it all.
Will definitely come back!“

“We dropped in after being on the hunt for something different and saw other reviews looking good. We also saw how busy it was, which to us was a good sign. We put our names down and I think we only waited about 20 minutes for a table. We ordered the Beef & Pork Combo B, medium size (for 2 people). It came with Beef Bulgogi, Beef Short Rib, Comb-cut Pork Belly & Pork Galbi. There were 2 slices of mushroom & 2 slices of zucchini on the board with the raw meats, which was a little odd there wasn't more, but the meat portion was nice otherwise. Plus it came with sides that we learned get refilled as desired - rice, pickled beans sprouts, kimchi, seaweed, sauces, etc...
One of the servers came by fairly early on to change our BBQ grill, which was nice, but we weren't feeling like the ventilation was fully working on ours because it got quite smoky & we had to turn it off until we could get another change of grill because it was hurting our eyes. We had clicked the call server button a few times but no answer, so we had to wait until someone else came near to clear a table to get assistance so that was a bit slow, but it was friendly service, which is always a plus.
Overall I feel it was good for the price, other than it might have been nice to have some extra veggies to grill with the meat.“

“My husband and I love eating out at Dolpan! I always get bulgogi hot plate and my husband gets stir fried bulgogi noodles. They both come in a skillet. So delicious🤤 They also come with soy potatoes, kimchi, and rice. We always leave stuffed and still able to bring a bit back home. Highly recommend!“
