They never listen to what we supposed to order.
We’re from NJ - we like the food and their halohalo. Service is excellent, bubbling staff 😍
This is a review of Richmond’s Kumare restaurant; the others are in Delta and in Burnaby. Prices are as of July 2025.
I had the Lumpiang Shanghai appetizer (9 deep fried pork spring rolls) for $10.25 and a BBQ pork skewer for $4.75. Both were very good, especially considering their costs. Very interesting sauce in the skewer; it’s not sweet & sour. The server said it was a “Filipino sauce”.
They also have yummy-looking baked goods for sit-down or for takeout.
Highly recommended if you want a change from your regular meals!

Authentic Filipino food. Fast service, clean place and baked goods ready for purchase. Closes early, so check hours. Wished the portion sizes were larger.

Ordered chicharon bulaklak today. What I got was a few soggy pieces that smelled funny for $21. I hope this was just a mistake.

Nice little place, this is 2nd time I am here. This time I ordered fish dish traditional Philippines breakfast, fish was very crispy, and egg on top of rice, yum. Good portion size.
This place is one of our go-to spots. The food is super authentic—everything tastes homemade and full of flavor. We’ve been coming here pretty regularly and it never disappoints. The staff are always friendly and make you feel right at home. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Filipino food!
The food was delicious and the service was really good.
It was my first time using ubereats for for Kumare’s delivery. I ordered their BBQ pork box and 2 pcs of pork intestine. It cost me around $26.71 and to my surprise, its this little. The portion is too little for the price of $15.50 and the pork intestine was $4 per stick. Its too expensive by how small the portion was as well as the quality of the pork BBQ wasnt that good either.
